Heh, I'd totally be down to do that, but I suspect the panel is going to be perhaps a bit more subdued than my brand of frenetic headbanging and hand-waving that tends to occur when I'm doing a set. Now, if there were some way to do some kind of after-expo set or somesuch, that would be quite interesting indeed. And I promise I'd be more in-practice at that point, too.

Yeah, the transitions were not good in most places. In my defense, I hadn't actually had time to practice, so there's that. Still, it was a lot of fun! That said, I'm a bit surprised that it's gotten so many dislikes on youtube. Twice as many of those as likes. Was it really that bad?

ahh balls, I tried to PM you as well, but apparently that bounced. The short version is that I don't think I'll be ready to go within this week, at least, due to sister getting married and some other stuff.

I'm listening to it right now, and I really, really like it. Yeah, it's repetitive, but that's Daft Punk for you. The entire thing just flows together SO WELL, and it's so smooth...it's really good.

So, just in case you guys have a hankering to watch me flail my arms around like a madman and play some of my remixes (including a couple of unreleased FF6 mixes!) at a show, I thought I'd for ya. The audio quality is not good, since it was recorded on my phone, and the lighting isn't the best ever, but this is what happens when you tell me to show up and play music for people. Hope you dig it, sloppy transitions and all!

Huge fan of the intricate filters used on so many synths in this one. Those drums are really thick, too. Love it!

I liked the (second, I think) English dub for Initial D. The vibe is different than the Japanese, but I think it conveys the story in a great way.

FWIW, I've got a set of 5" E-Mu monitors, and I'd be completely lost without my subwoofer. Anything below about 60-80hz is cut off completely from the monitors. Has to do with the lowest frequency that a certain size of speaker can produce--I think even an 8" speaker can only go to like 35hz or something, the exact numbers aren't coming to mind.

I used Open-Source Broadcast, which allowed me to select several sources (including my webcam and specific portions of my screen), so that's how I got my lovely mug in the frame.
