I had fun the other night. I wish I could've played the Eyelander with more than a bottle, but, overall, very fun.

The problem with "must" is not that the sentence is past tense (which it would work in), but that the sentence is in the wrong tense to begin with. In this particular case, you're right Dafydd. "Helps" is correct in both cases. "[...]Combined with his heroic antics and personality[...]" is seperate from the rest of the sentence. When dealing with the verb, treat it as though the extra information wasn't there.

I have to say, that e-mail seems a bit on the scammy side. I'd check the full header info before doing much of anything with it.

I have to say, my favorite sign was the "Is this thing on?" one. Classic. Yeah, I don't know why the government hasn't branded WBC as a hate group yet. That's all they are anymore.

Maybe this isn't the best place to suggest this, but, djp, this is your site after all. Perhaps you should work in the ability to bounce a direct post nominee back to the judges panel if need be. This would be for the rare cases, like this, when a controversal song that may meet the standards needs the extra perspectives you were talking about in order to seem legitimate. Or if someone dropped the ball somewhere, by some aweful fluke.

CMC: Conceptual Music Competition This competition is based on the rules of the classic TOMC (Thematic Original Music Competition). The CMC (Conceptual Music Competition) is designed so that each participant enters a piece of music based on a set theme. The participants take the theme and interpret it as they will to come up with something that fits. Any style can work, as long as it portrays a sense of what the theme is. Feel free to be imaginative! Each successive theme will be chosen by the winner of the previous competition. For example, say the theme of the last competition, CMC 36, was "Freefall" and the winner, Ruby, submitted a piece that knocked the socks off of everyone, so she won.
