  13. That's a great Idea !!!! It's going to involve people, because there's almost 1800 remixes! Unfortunately there's going to have people like myself, who are not good with computer (or even non-computer ) graphics ...
  14. Although the beta version of Vienna exists (but I don't think we can acquire it), there is no release date, yet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7 It says that it's going to be released three years after Vista, which came out January the 30th of 2007 ...
  15. I have seen and experience all three OS (Windows, Mac and Linux) First all depends on what are you looking for and what are your expectations : - On Linux there's Muse and Rosegarden (a free clone of Cubase) however they aren't really professional, as we might say. There isn't a poor choice. Sure Wine might work, but sometimes when if you have a problem with the software, it's really hard to resolve it. I don't really advice to only use Linux, even if it's all free ... - On Mac there's Ableton Live, Digital performer, Logic Pro or Cubase. On what I've seen on a Friend's house, it depends on your tastes, personnally (although some people are going to angry) I don't really like how Mac works ... - On windows there's Sonar, Cubase, Fl Studio, Reason, ACID, Traktion. FL studio, if you look here, in the remixing section of OCR, Fl studio is by the far the most used Digital AudioWorkstation on OCR, because it is easy to use and it's versatile. Cubase is more performant but it's design for professional, and is not as user-friendly. Bottom Line : All this to say, personally I'd choose between Mac and Windows. Mac being a little more performant, but Windows being is easier to find. What you should is finding info to make the right choice

  21. I was waiting for someone to realize that Pirate of the Caribbean and The Elder's Scrolls shared a really similar theme. I was hoping for a remixer, to mix the two tracks, since I am not very talented myself ... Well done John Revoredo !
  22. When I bought my computer, one year ago, a Vista , I fugured out that there was two harddisk in it, and Windows was only using one. So, one day, when I was bored, I installed Ubuntu on the other Harddisk. It works really well ! Now each time I turn on my computer, or I restart it, I get to choose which OS to use
  23. Salut ! Hi ! (I am going to translate, so nobody feels left out !) I am not a professional remixer, however I think that certain of your remixes are quite well thought and well done ! (My favourite being Greens Greens) I'd say you should concentrate on a remix of a particular song you like, so you can submit it to the judges, who are experts. They'll give theirs advices for you to improve your skills. I am sure that someday one of your remixes will be accepted ! As others said, I think there is too much reverb/echoes, also, i suggest that you should play with equalization. Keep it up ! You're doing great !
