Great album.  I only wish I didn't have to take a break to go pee every other song.

I agree; the music seems watered down lately. I sea that with this album, OCR has really hit rock bottom. Nothing has any depth anymore. Congratulations Darkeword. I'm shore you're happy you FINished off the stream of good music. I'm going to go krill myself. Actually, I don't eel like it.

Oh wow, that's thinking ahead. Nice. The urls are even simpler now across the board.
Yep, fixed on my end. Muchas gracias.

@Polo Actually it was MOST of the system references to gamefaqs - they changed their link structure for systems - and we were missing some as well. THAT should be fixed.
Should be fixed now; might require clearing cache.

Hey folks. Sorry for the false alarm earlier today with the April Fool's joke. Some people seem to be assuming that because we did a joke today about the album, this entire month of my saying that the album is done was just a lead up to the joke. If you know me and my opinions about April Fool's Day, you know that I have very strong opinions about doing any part of an A1 joke outside of April 1st. Rest assured, Water is done in terms of both music and album art.
Speaking of album art, take a look at what we've got cooked up!

    And here's the tracklist!

I've been working with @rnn who's our wonderfully talented album artist for For Everlasting Peace, Super Cartogrpahy Bros., and Apex 2015: This is the Moment, to completely revamp the visual look for The Fabled Warriors. Volume 2 is going to be a stepping off point for this series in terms of art. After Water is released, we're going to go back and redo the album art for Wind to match this new style; it'll feature Bartz on the cover against a "windy" backdrop and a wind-inspired circular pattern. The next three albums (Fire, Earth, and Dawn) will feature Faris, Galuf, and Krile.
I want to thank @Otakatt and @Monobrow for their help with the original album art for Wind all those years ago. I had a specific idea for the series back then and we executed on it really well. But given some distance, I've decided I want to change up the look of the series and make things consistent throughout. I'm pretty excited.
Anyway look for the real release of Water in the coming weeks. It's all coming together. All that's really left is some preparation stuff on OCR staff's side; trailer, comments, etc. Thanks for being patient.

Oh man, I heard sixto's BZKR mix years ago and didn't know or at the very least did not remember that it was for this album. I think people will be in for a treat when this drop. Tracklist looks strong even with my little poot there I guess.

On the "forums" dropdown menu, the "Social Networking & RSS" icons are gone when browsing the actual forums (whether the Forums Home or any individual thread), although they appear everywhere else, like the front page, ReMix writeups, and lists of systems/albums/organizations/etc.

On the system pages for the TurboGrafx-16 and TurboGrafx-CD, the GameFAQs reference links are broken. Here's an update for the former and latter respectively.
Also, why is Akumajo Dracula X: Rondo of Blood half in English and half in Japanese title-wise? Why not Devil's Castle Dracula X: Rondo of Blood or Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo?

Now that Q4 2011 is finally here, it's time for volume 2 of Final Fantasy V: The Fabled Warriors... Water!

We've left no puddle unsplashed, with 10 great pieces painstakingly and wetly arranging classic FF5 themes from "The Prelude" to "Song of Storms"!

I guess Absynth is a "your mileage may vary" type of plugin Personally, while I *DO* think it's great for sound design & eccentric textures/FX, I just feel that for basses, leads, etc., it rarely produces results I find usable.
I'd like to see its extensive randomization/mutation functionality ported to other synths though - A+ implementation for that type of feature.

Absynth feels like the least essential individual component of Komplete, to me.... it's deep, but there's something about it that just strikes me as incomplete & subpar relative to Zebra2, for instance...

The many flourishes and segues speckled throughout caress the melody and make it sparkle. Some sections are a little samey - for example, at 1:01 and similar points, most instruments drop out to give the bass and percussion the floor (just like in the source) - but then again, they seem to reinforce the charting of a clear, direct path among the chaotic biosphere of a foreign planet.

Thanks to feedback from @Daniel Caton (thanks) & OCR staff, we've made some substantial improvements to the workshop skills pages, e.g.:
    http://ocremix.org/workshop/skill/studio-one http://ocremix.org/workshop/skill/vocals-female http://ocremix.org/workshop/skill/french-horn Changes are as follows:
Switched to bootstrap tables Switched to font-awesome icons "join date" is now "joined" and is just the year "last visited" is now "visited" "real name" moved under user name user name larger "real name" column replaced with "skills / tools" column, including DAW & instrumental Secondary sort added on visited (sorts by collab status first, then visited date, DESC) Made additional instrument links clickable Made DAW links clickable icons The last four items are bold since I think they represent the biggest improvement - now, when looking at members who have specified one skill, you can see the other skills they have specified as well, and you can click on those skills to jump around a bit. Plus fancypants DAW icons. And the sorting based on last visited (most recent first) gives you a good idea of who's more likely to be around/available.
Feedback appreciated, although this was kind of a "burst" of energy for these specific pages, knowing full well I might not get back to updating them for awhile given more pressing concerns

I like this except that I feel the full date display just seems like overkill...
For the purposes of collaborating with someone & assessing their availability, I feel like:
"Today" "Yesterday" "This Week" "This Month" "Last Month" "Mon YYYY" (e.g. "Dec. 2015") Should do it...the specific day seems superfluous, outside of it being within the first three ranges... make sense?
