  1. Alas, I too am of the frothing hordes of rabid piano aficionados; I have no alibi, but I also have no regrets. I absolutely love this piece, and often find myself inadvertently pretending to play it.
  2. Whenever a mix makes me want to do tai chi to it, it's a great mix, and this one is no exception. I love the high-energy intensity of this one.
  3. I tend to gravitate towards the more "trippy" tracks, and my friends berate me for it, but perhaps it's just my inner hippie coming out. This arrangement is solid, and the guitar is amazing--reminds me a lot of my cousin's playing. Somehow it's relaxing and invigorating at the same time.
  4. I love this mix, it has a really unique flavor to it that doesn't easily fit into any one genre. It always makes me want to do tai chi, as well. I've been hearing lots of good things about Another Soundscape, and I'm beginning to see that they were well-justified.
  5. I really love the piano section that takes up the middle of the piece--I think that by itself could have been expanded and made a great arrangement on its own.
  6. I totally dig the ambient water sounds, this is a very relaxing and atmospheric piece.
  7. Mr. Prievert is shaping up to be one of my favorite ReMixers on this site, and this piece is one of the reasons, if not the reason, why. I've never heard the original song, but somehow I think listening to it after having heard this piece would be almost a disappointment, as I feel he captures the essence of it so well. This is one ReMix that won't be leaving my playlist for a long, long time. Actually, it'll probably be there for the rest of eternity.
  8. I really dig the time signature change, this is a solid mix that holds its own in the sea of Terra mixes.
  9. I'll be the first to admit, I'm not the biggest fan of the heavy rock/electric guitar stuff, but I can actually appreciate a piece like this (and not get a headache from it). It's nice to be able to listen to electric guitar work that focuses more on style than on trying to be as loud and heavy as possible.
  10. This mix is so eclectic and awesome. It's not easily described, nor easily listened to, but that's part of its charm. I love listening to unusual, out-of-left-field pieces like this one that defy all sense of genre.
  11. I love this mix, it's so cheery and upbeat. It also reminds me of the carefree days of my childhood as well (not that they had anything to do with Final Fantasy VI, sadly).
  12. I'm a huge fan of solo piano arrangements, including this one. It's atmospheric and emotional, and wonderfully done.
  13. I love this arrangement. I've listened to a lot of orchestral arrangements on here, and this is one of the pieces that gets things right. I'm not going to pretend to be some kind of expert in music theory, but the way all of the elements move and flow seamlessly with each other in an intricate dance of instruments and sections is beautiful. Very well done.
  14. This is an amazing arrangement. I've always loved Locke's theme and wanted to hear a full-blown Williams-esque rendition of it, and this is the closest I've gotten, and I'm not saying that in a bad way in the least. This mix is powerful and energetic and reminds me of the Canadian Brass--this sounds just like something from their hypothetical video game cover album (which is something I think they should totally do).
  15. This mix is...inspiring. Powerful. Lovely. Not only that, but hearing it reminds me of the N64 days when my sisters and I would play this for hours on end. I always liked the end credits music and the awesome scenes that accompanied it, and this piece takes the track above and beyond its origin. Great job.
