  1. Very interesting take on the source material; not as coherent in arrangement as I had hoped, but a nice attempt nonetheless.
  2. This piece has more emotion in one bar than I probably have in my entire body. I probably shouldn't have admitted that. Regardless, what a masterpiece. If emotional music was sharp pointy objects, this would have killed me several times over.
  3. Ooh...this is one piece that gives me the chills every time I listen to it. kLuTz is another one of my big favorite piano arrangers here on this site.
  4. I love this; it's a pretty blatant medley, but it's pulled off so well, it's what a medley should sound like, not a mere pastiche of motifs slapped together with little rhyme or reason--the transitions aren't seamless, but they don't feel like they need to be.
  5. I can't really put my finger on why I like this one...I suppose it's the blending of so many little elements into a cohesive whole.
  6. Very nice take on the source material, definitely takes in in a unique direction.
  7. I love this piece, it's quiet and beautiful, and I love to plunk out the tune as best I can on my keyboard--I've never heard the original, but even so I think I can safely say I like this rendition better. I tend to like solo accoustic guitar pieces almost as much as I love solo piano, and this one's a keeper.
  8. Most of the solo piano pieces on this site are amazing, and this one is no exception. Absolutely wonderful job, the arrangement is so rich and magnificent.
  9. Another masterpiece from the mind of JigginJonT...how does he do that? At first, I thought the string strumming at the end was kind of gimmicky, but I've since come to realize that nobody ever said you had to play an instrument the way everyone else does. This piece is beautiful.
  10. I don't think JigginJonT knows how to make a mediocre piano arrangement. It must be some kind of physical impossibility for him. If he ever sat down to purposely make something that didn't blow everyone's minds, his hands would probably freeze up on him, and then start punching his lights out or something. Odd theories aside, what a great piece. I'd been waiting for a symphonic arrangement of Setzer's theme, but solo piano is just as great, and he really covers it perfectly, I couldn't ask for more.
  11. Another masterpiece from one of my favorite solo piano arrangers. Great job.
  12. JigginJonT is another of my favorite solo pianists on this site, and this piece really amplifies the original. Sometimes I even find myself "air pianoing" along with it, which does get rather embarrassing in social situations. But it's so worth it.
  13. This is probably my favorite Super Mario RPG ReMix, and the only symphonic piece of its kind on this site, and I love it. The forest theme is covered absolutely beautifully and how I always wanted to hear it, and everything else is a lush and vibrant palette of instrumentation.
  14. Totally awesome song, now I really can't hear Ken's theme any other way. The guitar is amazing.
  15. Would have worked great as a solo piano piece, but the flute is a nice addition and really comes into its own quite well in the latter half.
  16. Truly epic. If/when I build my own airship and go careening through the skies, I will definitely play this piece nonstop over the intercom and drive my crew/passengers completely insane. It will be awesome.
  17. It's so cool to see some older and less-well-known genres represented here; this piece is great.
  18. A really awesome, fun piece. I love all of the solos, they're amazing.
  19. This is the first ReMix I ever downloaded, and I only regret that I waited so long to finally compliment it. I believe this is the piece that got me hooked on this site; I'd stumbled upon this place a few times before in the past, but had never really stayed for long. This piece, however, was different than everything I had previously listened to. It's beautiful, moving, and inspiring. So inspiring that the first time I listened to it, it actually made me open a sketchbook and start drawing, and when a piece does that to you, you know it's a keeper.
  20. A very interesting take on a classic theme, nice work.
  21. When I first listened to this, I was afraid it was going to be Relm's theme ruined by some cheesy elevator music take that would once again only serve to remind me of fake potted plants, pastel walls, and oddly abstract watercolor landscapes such as what one finds in doctor's office waiting rooms. Thankfully, I was proved wrong. I'm not the biggest fan of sax, but it actually sounds good in this piece.
  22. A very ambitious piece, and the idea is pulled off nicely--I'd like to hear what the rest of the epic suite would have sounded like.
