My posts keep getting buried, but there is a ROSTER SPREADSHEET in the first post that has everyone listed and their picks, including the people I am holding spots for until I hear back from them. They expressed interest earlier, so they are safe for now. If they aren't interested or disappear for a week or something, then I'll open those spots up. For now there are 6 held spots left for: Amphibious Hollow Syllix Disambiguity Chernabogue halc I didn't think things were going to get quite this crazy in here! -

Yeah that's the dilemma... the majority of people won't make more than 2-3 mixes total due to being eliminated, so it's not a huge deal. But it's just those last final rounds that may get kind of crazy. Especially if you were one of the individuals that was part of the first round of 16 (and not part of the 16 "bye-week" seeded people). Yeah, I thought of that idea too (like what you folks just did in the FFCC), but I'd rather not complicate things and have a 3-person round where people mix 3 sources together. Mixing two themes together can be tough enough for some. I'd rather keep it simple.

OK so the open roster spots are filled now! I still have 8 held spots for people that previously expressed interest. If they don't sign up (and I don't hear back from them), then their spots will be freed up in the next couple of days. Oh my... that'd be crazy... I don't know if we'd get 64, but we might be able to do a 48 person seeded bracket. We'd basically have two rounds of 16 for both brackets doing it this way. I'd have to randomly seed people to determine who the 16 people would be that'd get the first round off. That'd be the only fair way to do it. I don't know... that'd push the compo out another two weeks as well, and the eventual winner may have to make 6 mixes by the time the compo was over, if they were part of that first round. I don't want to wear people out and end up seeing people drop mid-way (cause that always sucks). What do people think? If there is enough interest, would you (the participants) want a 48 person seeded competition? If you were interested in joining still but not signed up yet, let us know here so I can gauge interest in this idea. When you sanic you Genesis or Saturn soundtrack please? He's on the spreadsheet

Wow, so at this point, I only have 1 (ONE) unaccounted for roster spot open. There are 9 other spots that I'm temporary holding for people that stated in this thread that they were interested in participating. So if they are no longer interested, or if I don't hear from them in a few days, then I'll open those spots back up as well. You guys rock Just keep checking the Roster Spreadsheet (linked in the first post too) for all the up-to-date roster spots and current picks!

Thanks! You can use all parts of the zones themes too... no need to separate out by acts. So if you get Frozen Factory, you can pull from zone 1, 2, or 3! Same goes for everyone, if that situation applies to your zone:

You get to use all the "acts" from the zone too. Which is what I think some of those titles you posted were (the individual song) names. So you just need to put down "Windy Hill" or whatever the zone is. Boss themes, title themes, menus, etc. are not eligible though. Just "Zones".

I'll randomize who is in what bracket. 16 for the Sonic Bracket and 16 for Robotnik Bracket. There is really nothing special to the teams, other than the artwork and stuff that will accompany that bracket. Unless you had a special circumstance where it was easier for you to mix one of those weeks, then I could place you in that bracket. I got your picks via facebook, but you can post them again if you want, now that your forum account is working Yeah I got you on my list. Just post them when you have them figured out. And yeah you can be in the Robotnik Bracket if you prefer. To recap, for everyone's sake: the Sonic Bracket starts mixing the week of Jan 26 (and subsequent rounds on Feb 9, Feb 23, Mar 9) and the Robotnik Bracket starts mixing the week of Feb 2 (and subsequent rounds Feb 16, Mar 2, Mar 16). The finals would be the week of March 23. I may allow 2 weeks for the finals when we get there, we'll see. Mixing rounds will begin on Sunday with the mix being due the next Sunday. Then a one week voting period. So you can consider this your "off" week. Then if you win and move on, you'd begin mixing again the following week. I'll update all of this info in the first post very soon.
