  1. There are plans for a physical print at this time. I'm also not very familiar with how staff goes about that though... I'd definitely be willing to chip in if a print was ever to happen. Maybe someone from staff could enlighten us on how we could go about this? djp, Stevo?
  2. This is pretty cool Pete! I love the cinematic approach here, it definitely suits the sources well. You planning on developing this more?
  3. I'm going to try to make it to MAG this year (I've never gone before! ). If we count the number of our project friends that are across the pond(s), then I think we'll all need to be having an extra 10-11 drinks
  4. Nice! I just realized that this Friday was the day after Thanksgiving, so I'll be home and might be able to join the SMD listening party too! I was thinking I'd miss it cause I'd be at work during the show! On another note... am I the only person watching the trailer multiple times a day? I am so beyond excited for the listening parties and release of this album!
  5. LISTENING PARTY EXTRAVAGANZA!!!!!! Catch the pre-release listening party for Temporal Duality on Sunday, November 24th at 6pm EDT, hosted by Nitro Game Injection on Arecibo Radio! Come for some Sonic CD and stick around for the debut of WillRock's original album "Welcome to the Real World" at 9pm EDT! If you can't catch the pre-release party, be sure to catch the SECOND listening party with Rexy and the RadioSEGA gang on SEGA Mixer Drive at 7pm UK time (8pm CET / 2pm US ET) on Friday, November 29th!
  6. lol @ these haikus. A listening party is where we'll stream the entire album online via an online radio station. It also has chat functionality so we can all interact and ask questions and stuff to any of us from the project that are in attendance. It'll be fun! It'll be open for everyone yes! I'm working through the details now. So I'll post them in here (and the first post of this thread) once the date/time is locked down!
  7. AWWWW YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAHHHHH! November 25th baby!! José did a phenomenal job on this trailer, I looooooove it! We're in the middle of planning a listening party as well, so I'll post details on that as soon as I have them available! Definitely! I wanted to make sure you got credit for proposing the original idea! Everyone on this project; staff, remixers, artists, all did an amazing job! I am so proud of everyone's work and cannot wait for the world to hear it!
  8. Cool, just let me know when it works best for you guys and I'll round a few of us up!
  9. I liked the flow between tracks better. The tracklist didn't necessarily need to follow the game's zone progression, in my opinion. Album flow was my top priority. That just so happened to the one case where it didn't follow the zones exactly tho awwww It is coming SOON folks, I promise. Hold tight!!!
  10. This looks like fun! I haven't been able to watch any of these live yet, but I've seen some of the recordings. I saw in the first post that remixers can join too? I had an idea that maybe the week Sonic CD Temporal Duality releases a small handful of us from the project team could hop in for a segment and talk about the album and answer some questions and stuff? Kinda like what you guys did for MM25?
  11. Well, my thinking with the mix title was aimed at making reference to the two zone themes I was remixing: "pyroclastic" makes reference to Lava Reef zone and "tides" to Tidal Tempest zone. The word Pyroclastic is most often associated with a pyroclastic flow, which is a mixture of hot gas and rock that flows down the side of a volcano after an eruption. They also have the ability to cross bodies of water. So yeah it was just my clever way of combining the two zone themes into my title, not so much trying to elicit a certain instrument or sound
  12. Thanks for the kind words guys! Although this ended up technically not being my first mix-post collaboration on the site, this is my first solo-arrangement mixpost that passed the judges panel, so I'm pretty proud of that. It reminds me how much I've improved since then too, hehe And I still can't get over how Adam did such a good job on that trumpet solo! Yeah that is crazy, that compo did pretty much spawn 'Temporal Duality', as well as bring about a lot of friendships! Rexy originally posted the 'generating interest thread' for a Sonic CD album just as the compo was winding down, and then I ended up picking it up and getting it running in October 2012. I ended up recruiting a bunch of you guys and gals from that compo for the album too. And here we are now just about a year later! Sooooooo excited!!!!
  13. Thanks! I had a great time creating that one!

  14. Seriously! The hype train is coming in fast! It's been a little quiet in here recently... I'm curious, are you guys excited? Do you like the cover art? What remixes are you most looking forward to hearing?
  15. I posted a review on iTunes this afternoon. It was a good review and had 5 stars nice job again!
  16. Cooking up your sleeves sounds really dangerous and it seems like a good recipe for scorched flesh. I am excited for the new Diablo 3 expansion cause it sounds like it's actually going to be good. Not going to Blizzcon though.
  17. I didn't have time to participate in this, but it was a really cool idea and looks like it will be a lot of fun! I'm definitely looking forward to checking out the mixes and voting! Good luck all!
  18. Yeeeeeeah, nice job man! I always enjoy checking out Ruku's new songs/beats. They always have such a nice polished sound to them. Good job as always!
  19. Yeah if worst comes to worst and you only get 24, you could use the list randomizer to randomly assign seeding, so it's fair. In that scenario, the 'top' seeds would get the first week off. Not ideal, but it would work and be fair. You've only had the thread open a few days tho, so if you keep it open two weeks you should be able to get 32! Good luck!
  20. 24 would be tough to get to work, unless you had seeded brackets, but then how do you assign seeding fairly? That could get dicey. You can also use this list randomizer to figure out brackets and matchups, too. That's what I used for SZRC, per Darke's suggestion (I think that's what he uses for all his compos). Just put everyone in the list, cut the list in half (those are your two brackets), and then just go down the list and pair them up how they were randomized.
  21. I'm sorry I'm busy :( There are usually a handful of people willing to make art though, just post some ideas in the thread of what you're looking for! If you got any questions on how to run the thing though, feel free to ask!

  22. Oh and I swear I am hearing "Whip that candle, get that boob job" in the vocoder lyrics. I am not hearing "pork chop" there, hahahaha. Does Dracula have something he needs to share?
  23. When I downloaded the album off iTunes on Tuesday night, I realized the final track just credited Joshua Morse, but according to the Soundcloud is looks like it features Danimal Cannon as well. Just FYI, that track might not be tagged correctly in the iTunes store. Jake shows up as DJ/JD and not DjjD too, by the way.
  24. Hey B! Temporal Duality is in evaluation right now, so I should know the status very soon. We did request that specific release date to align with the 20th anniversary of Sonic CD (like I mentioned in the thread), so we'll see :). I don't know any hard/secret info at the moment though.

Yeah, I saw your FFCC compo! It looks like it will be a ton of fun! Unfortunately I don't think I have the time to create graphics or participate at the moment. I'm still trying to finalize SCD stuff and have another time-sensitive collab I need to wrap up, not to mention my work/home life schedule is pretty busy this next month or so. When is it going to start exactly? Regardless, I'll definitely listen and vote!
