  1. Bump. Tune into NGI tonight at 6!
  2. As announced earlier this morning, this Sunday's episode of Nitro Game Injection will feature an EXCLUSIVE REMIX from Around the World! This is special hip-hop episode where Kyle, Larry, and Suraida will be joined by the one and only José the Bronx Rican! NGI airs this Sunday at 6PM on Arecibo Radio!
  3. I don't believe you have any say in pushing back the album to 2015...Assistant Director...
  4. I ask myself that same question every single day.
  5. So for the second OCR panel I've been to this year, the "dodgeboobs" cover art got a huge reaction from the crowd. I do believe it's staying.
  6. Haven't played (or even heard of) the other games, but I'm in love with VVVVVV. And this is a new 2.0 release that has a level editor and a stage made by Minecraft creator Notch, too. Too bad this bundle had to come out right before Otakon, so I won't be paying as much as I have past bundles, but I'm still gonna pay above the average and show my support.
  7. Meh. The game probably wasn't gonna be good anyway. Then all the fans would be shouting "ZOMG TEH CRAPCUM DOESNSNT CARE ABOUUT TEH MUGAMAN GAEMS THEY SUCCK LIEK SONIC AMIRITE?" I don't think anything of value was lost here. Just like Mega Man Universe, which also looked subpar.
  8. I finally get to checking the site out and playing some music when firefox crashes.
  9. In college, I S-Ranked all of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I'd pick one stage, play nothing but that stage for hours until I mastered it little by little, then move on to the next one. All of the split-second rail grinding, all of those awkward Tails/Eggman mech levels, all of the driving sections, all of the chao raising, all of the emerald hunting. I still have all the words to the Pumpkin Hill rap committed to memory because I had to replay that stage so many goddamn times. My reward for all this? Phantasy Star Online-style skins for the characters and a 3D version of Green Hill Zone Act 1, both of which are not very interesting or good.
  10. Despite not yet playing an FF game, I have such a love for Uematsu's FF soundtracks. In it? Yes. To win it? Double yes.
  11. I'll be there. Really hoping to run into/be hunted down by more forumgoers this year. I'll be skewing off and doing Bit Gen on Saturday too, though.
  12. You could almost lump in Super Dodge Ball with this same theory. It's not the most well-known NES game, and it never shows up in anybody's top 10 lists (although it should), it's from the same series that included better-known titles like Nintendo World Cup and the almighty River City Ransom. That's not counting other Super Dodge Ball games like the NEO GEO port, the arcade original, Super Dodge Ball Brawlers, or the SDB XBLA Indie title. On top of that is the fact that even if the games are more fractured and obscure in America, the Kunio-kun franchise is much more popular in Japan. Kunio is lined up alongside Famicom giants like Mario and Mega Man. Of course, obscurity doesn't mean much in the end. Brandon proved that awesome music can even come from a game in which the only person who's ever heard of it is...well, Brandon.
  13. For the longest time I was hoping for most obscure...then Teen Agent came out. "Soonish" as in "every track is fully completed and Kyle and I are talking to OA about the website and also starting to organize the torrent package".
  14. Had this been released, it would've been a cult NES classic. This is simply one of the weirdest games ever.
  15. Of course it's not delayed. The album will be released soon...ish.
  16. 4/01/11: I'm sorry guys, but have you seen all the shit that's coming out soon? Larry informed Kyle earlier this morning that we've been pushed back on the release schedule until early 2012. It's out of my hands, I'm sorry.
  17. I love that manual. My favorite part is at the end when Cranky asks if anybody out there actually uses the Notes section at the back of instruction manuals. (For the record, some of my booklets still have passwords and cheats written in the Notes section from when I was a kid.)
  18. There used to be an X-Men Children of the Atom machine at my town's Pizza Hut for a brief time. I can't remember getting too far in it, but I remember Wolverine being my favorite. I can remember him beating up guys like Silver Samurai and Omega Red.
  19. Yep, it's all good around here as long as you credit OCR. Just don't go around uploading songs from here and claiming you made them yourself...that's when we release the hounds.
  20. I was tired. The controller was greasy. I was hungover. I couldn't concentrate. I was starstruck by playing with an internet personality. His computer players were cheating. I couldn't make any power throws. The video was heavily edited in his favor. This means nothing. I'll have my revenge against Pat!
