I mess everything up. Everything that I put is in the same category ('unsorted', except for audio and automation clips), everything's piano roll'd, the way I put the patterns in the playlist varies a lot no matter the instrument, I don't use blocks, I don't colorize the instruments I put on the Mixer and normally I don't start creating music from the intro. ;P

What amuses me is the way the title changes after Emunator gets a WAV XD

I'm just kinda sad because you guys didn't play the judge game, but still that's highly appreciated Ah, well, 'bout Shiva Nataraja, these days I've been wondering how it got past. It may have quite of a backstory (like this one, which is even bigger), but I just can't feel it as I used to. There's many remixes that I've done before Musicolours that got NO'ed, be it due to poor sample usage, or to mastering issues. I suppose the way I've created my first posted remix was like, a random thing that turned right. Either that, or the passing bar has risen. If there's a moment where my skills will reach enough stability for the website's standards, I'm eagerly, persistently waiting (and practicing) for it

That doesn't sound like the original chord progression. If you're based on it, there's a very loose connection with the source, and I wouldn't recognize it at all. You need to reference the source if you're writing something on the song, just don't make it too source-conservative or too liberal. They're too MIDI and in every note they sound the same. That's also what I mean by "choir articulations", by the way, but I guess it happens with it due to that exhaustively played chord progression ;P It did, I like that part. During the rest of the song, though, I think you could also have some velocity changes on the snare in a few parts, so it at least could vary its sound a lil'. What I mean is, the track has two distinct parts - one is calmer and the other, louder, and they don't blend well enough for me. In order to balance things more, you could probably have a shorter intro or something.

Oh boy, I really wanna make my debut at using something from the sticky topics... I'm excited \@/ Let's go! Well, those are my thoughts on it. It was fun But still, I think this is a very cool interpretation. I love that haunting pace, and there's some elements in your track that I dig - CRASH! TISH! BOOM! -. I like your organ, and that choir just needs to articulate. Keep it up!

I only wish this was longer. Damn, I'm so in love with his voice, I'd fluctuate with it forever <3

Yanni's definitely my idol, and one of the artists I'm mostly inspired by. He likes to say his style's contemporary instrumental, but his production is all about mixed world music, sometimes with electronica stuff. His group consists of awesome instrumentists from different countries and cultures, and I love how this leads me to think about different people as being different instruments that form a unique kind of music. But heh, there's also Angelique Kidjo, Ivete Sangalo, Gypsy Kings, and if you're looking for eastern music there's Tony Mouzayek, Amr Diab, Ajda Pekkan (I mean, the old music she has), Khaled, Abdelli... I don't know much about far eastern music. What I hear from there's mostly C-Pop ;P

Bumpy! Y'know, even though I want to receive feedback and send this, I also want to have some fun. Let's pretend this is the judges panel, and you guys give your cents on the remix, ending with your "NO"s or "YES"es when you have time. Shall we try? NO

I laughed at that intro (but anyways, I laugh at everything)! ;P I'm just not sure if it works with your track. It has a nice hip-hop feel to it btw, and I like the way you control the drums. Like the break at 2:03, and the piano sounds quite good too. But still I think it lacks some interpretation, and something else to fill the soundscape, maybe a nice lead melody. Even though hip-hop's supposed to have an harmony that repeats exhaustively, I think this is a bit too much. You might want to make sure there's enough interesting things going on besides that ;D

Yoyo! XD Y'know, I think you could definitely expand things a lot more from the source. The way it is now is too repetitive, and gets boring after some time. The track has no climax, is too conservative, and those elements you introduce (like choirs, cymbals etc) don't convince me. In short, the track lacks interpretation from the original. Spice it up! Give it some variations, new melodies, some nice loops and stuff, but at the same time keep your focus on the source. There's issues with the production as well, but I guess you could work on the things I've pointed out before we get to that.

I've made an update as the ending seemed to cut the echo'ed harp during its fade-out, it's on the first post ;P Also, added a flanger to the electronic bass, turned down the levels of a few notes from the accordion, did a bit of humanizing on it and strings in a few sections Thank you for the comments btw, Emunator! ^^

The rest is either chord progression from the sources or original writing, like the piano playing part. There's quite a big backstory for this, but, to sum it up, it's about diversity of love. I've treated instruments as if they were people with their respective genders, and I intentionally made them pair together a lot. The harp represents love. Let's say I'm remixing something from 2 games, and one's the sequel to another (ex: Sonic 1 and Sonic 2, DKC1 and DKC2, etc). How would you judge it? Do you take the balance between sources as something very important? How much is it okay to do these kinds of mixes?
