  1. Some Star Ocean would be neat, especially the best battle music ever
  2. Oh yeah, Susumu Hirasawa, I know him too. Importing is always extremely expensive it's so bad. I listen to a lot of japanese music so I've spent a lot of money on importing But on topic, I only listen to radio when I'm in my car and there's traffic information on it, but my mother listens to a lot of radio. so when I'm home, I get blasted and that's why I don't listen on my own... I have enough music for me and almost nothing of it would ever be played on "normal" radio
  3. It was this one, I downloaded it a few months ago when you posted it here.
  4. I haven't had time to listen to the whole album just a few tracks, but they are stuck in my head which says a lot about the remixes. There are only two themes of the original OST which stuck, first the Opening Into the wilderness and there's another track which doesn't seem to be on the OST called Extreme Decisions, I ripped it from the PSF package. BTW does anybody else know this track. Too bad this didn't get remixed (at least so far)
  5. Ok, this thread is a bit old, but today I found an older version of this song. Productionwise the newer is much better, but I really liked the older (I don't know which one) one's arrangement better. BTW, I really like your style and your CC mixes, Cruisin' is my wake up tune.
  6. For me there's this one, http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01990/ which really gives you new energy when you're nearly powered out but there are several others too http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01657/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01478/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02224/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01987/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02326/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02215/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02237/ (WillRock's mixes are just awesome for working out) http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01137/
  7. The only show I'm currently watching is the remake of Hunter x Hunter, this is the only thing that stuck, and unfortunately I have not enough time to watch all the anime I want to watch...
  8. I'm surprised nobody mentioned Eternal Sonata And of course the Atelier Iris series (from the first one)
  9. FL Studio generally has a latency compensation enabled, meaning it waits for the synth or instrument to finish its run. But if the processor is overloaded, the synth can't complete in realtime and so the buffer for your soundcard can't be filled in time, so the buffer is underrun (incomplete). Another explanation might be that your soundcard buffer is too small, meaning the buffer has to be filled more often. This reduces the latency between e.g. your MIDI controller and the sound you hear when you press a key, but the smaller the buffer, the faster the processor has to fill it. I hope this wasn't too smart-alecky
  10. Today it really snowed for the first time this winter, and the first thing I thought about this morning when I saw it, was to search this melody on my player and play it when I started to walk to work. If only my surroundings would have been more quiet, it would have been more fitting
  11. I liked the original very much, it was my 2nd favorite tune of SA and this remix is definitely fitting. Now there's only my favorite one missing, being Ice Mountain Zone 2
  12. Are you playing it back while exporting? Because this could be too much for your processor to do both at the same time and hence your audio keeps getting flawed. But since the exported file doesn't need to be rendered in real time, it won't be flawed. So if you do, just stop your audio and wait for the exported file to be finished
  13. 10%, sounds great. I'd take one and mail you a real german beer. I think german beer is the best in the world, especially some of the bavarian ones. But there is good beer from all around Germany which would take too long to write them all down. But my favorites are: Hochstift (the beer from my hometown) Wiesenmühle Pils (it's from a small brewery in my hometown and you can only get it in their Biergarten/Restaurant) Diebels (it's something like an ale called Altbier from Düsseldorf) and of course Kreuzbergbier which is from a monastery in the north-west of Bavaria and you can get it (almost) only there I thought about brewing my own beer too, but not until I'm back in my hometown, where I have more space to do it
  14. Man, Dante kicks a** on so many levels
  15. Am I dumb or do I hear a bit of Shadow Man? But it sounds really nice + what Dr. Pepper Diet said
  16. 0:00-1:128The Title Theme of Megaman II (aka Rockman World II) for the Game Boy. The first GB Megaman got me hooked for the whole Megaman series, but Part II is my all time favorite. It has cool bosses and even cooler music, because some of the Robot Masters got a new tune for this game (like Needle Man, whose music is the reason I started remixing)
  17. Well, I would listen to my songs, why else would I make them
  18. Well, I haven't submitted anything yet, but I'm here to learn, because since I first heard of OC there was one song which never got remixed (and it still isn't) so I wanted to do my own remix of that song.
  19. 1. Finish my university degree 2. Starting my own business 3. Continuing my work-out efforts to regain the weight I had when I started my stay at university 3. Trying to get nearer to an OCRemix Level 4. Perhaps write my own synth plugin
  20. Actually I do, my girlfriend got me Ultimate for my birthday in November. I wanted to wait, because I desperately wanted to have Strider, because I really like him (but he's more difficult to play than in the first MvC) But I don't have an Xbox Live Account so I don't really play online
  21. No they don't strike a nerve, and I'm new to remixing as well and I'm always open to comments. Well, the lyrics are, in fact, fake, they were done with UTAU, a program similar to Vocaloid, but it's freeware. I chose this piece, because there are lyrics for it, for trying out UTAU
  22. I like the university styled one better
  23. Well guys, it's me again. Ok, this one's personal. The original piece (Aria de mezzo caraterre) holds a special place in my heart. I swore something to myself, but had to break my promise. I also made a promise to never try and remix this piece of art, yet I broke my promise again, but I really needed an exuse to try out UTAU () This is not really what I had invisioned when I had the idea, but I still like it somehow... But it's still in a veeery early stage Anyway, here goes: http://soundcloud.com/yaminokeshin/aria-wo-utatte-feat-shirakane
