This Kontakt stuff always confuses me, but I see now. Yeah, I don't own Kontakt, just have the player and an $80 piano sample set that doesn't sound nearly as neat as the one you linked. Thanks though. : D

I really like the first one you linked, but if it's free then why does it say demo when I load it up into Kontakt? Am I doing it wrong?

Duuuude, oh man oh man, the whole soundtrack is gonna get remade. This is super hype to the max level.

my favorite games from the pokemon series : D and it was the best story too, so i can't wait to see how that translates onto the 3ds but please for the love of all that is good put in the battle frontier from emerald. that was literally the best part of the whole series. i spent so much time on that thing.

i like spoilers sometimes. surprises suck, and sometimes i just wanna see how a story plays out rather than trying to guess the whole way through. the most memorable spoiler was probably for silent hill 2. but the funny thing is i forgot about the spoiler, so it ended up being a pointless anyways. (I didn't play the game about 1 or 2 years after being spoiled) that was a good thing for that game though, cause you kind of assume how things will happen anyway, and they do, just in a completely different way, which is cool. also the visual novel little busters. but that's one of those games that i wanted to see how the ending happened more so than the actual ending.

I was literally left with nothing from my past few WIP's D: no inspiration or care to make any music lately besides the srcz too, but this is something interesting i started after hearing the source. it's fun so far. enough bloggy stuff, about the mix: I'm really wanting to bring a strumming acoustic guitar into this, and possibly even electric lead, but those are hella hard to make without a good sample. but the strumming guitar is coming along nice. Just gotta EQ it right or find a better sample. still can't figure out why the heck that little pop is happening in the render when the bell starts, but it'll be figured out hopefully by the next update. Also it's pretty bright for some reason, i think i left a master track on in the render but it's close to what it'll sound like in the final. there'll be an update by the end of the week. this one seems like it's gonna flow like a river.

i sent a demo of my thingy to rozovian.. i didn't know if the song would even meet the criteria so i sent it just in case. i can probably finish it before this weekend is up anyways, but didn't want to rush it if it couldn't make it to the project anyways. (im gonna finish it regardless though.. as a OCR track) i might just be overthinking things. i'm gonna try to get a little more done tonight and beat USA to the punch so it doesn't end up all by itself

Yeah, it's not specifically about OCR from what I can tell. I'm at least hoping it'll cover some great remixers who don't submit to OCR or maybe who don't submit regularly. (i.e. stemage)

i love cuddling edit: so yeah, i'm not exactly sure if i'm going to make it to this now D: basically i'm out of atlanta at the moment because of some personal stuff i'd like not to share, but i don't think i'll be back in time for momocon and that's going to really suck. even if i do get back to atlanta at this point, i'm not exactly sure if i can cover the at door entrance fee. makes me wish i planned this earlier. i'm sorry y'all, if i can make it ill post back but at the moment its up in the air.

It doesn't seem like a bad idea to just do established remixers, though. Only because there's a lot more to talk about in a video if you were to do someone like Mazedude compared to someone like... well me.. or other people who have a few posts on OCReMix but not much outside of that. I might just be misunderstanding the meaning of up and coming though.

why would people get upset over this anyways? i wish they'd do something modern like this with mario or zelda. it's a show for kids, and i'd like for more people to grow up with the things i liked a lot growing up. imma try to get my kids into pokemon after reproducing of course.can't wait for that!!!

i was really thinking about this the past week.. but i was told recently that i shouldn't think as much and should just do stuff. i'm totally for this project and if y'all need help in any way regarding project assistance then hit me up on the PM's.

I hope y'all can get something happening. I love Bound Together and to even just have a re-release with some album artwork would be cool.

I feel like this kind of stuff happens with PS3 games more than any other type of system. I.E. Skryim and that dumb Silent Hill HD collection disc. I'm not sure how this stuff gets by exactly. Maybe stuff really does work before release, and then on release day things just go haywire and stuff glitches the heck out. Or maybe those testers are the ones that got the few copies that actually work while 90% of everyone else doesn't. It's silly. And it especially sucks for people who don't have Wi-Fi access all the time.

nothing last forever either. if he was arguing for more money he probably wasn't too satisfied with his job. that seems like it'd be the case. i'm more curious about who bungie is going to hire for composition now (if they even need to hire anyone else) or if the music quality will fall in any way. they still make awesome games regardless so its cool.
