Hmmm... To remix FFIX is always a big responsability. I think your mix is very initial yet, and the source is a good and challenging song. I can't understand your ideas and I think the song needs a direction. I dislike the acceleration about one minute or so... very premature. So, to start, it needs more balance and organization of ideas.

So, I would like to listen some extra effects, some minimal details here and there that provides little surprises to the listener. I like the song, but I think it is a little boring and sleepy.

I have observed that each judge has an evaluation's style, but I don't know if I am correct in my observations. Could you say something about each judge style? (or each judge can do that) if there is one more rigorous, or each different values you think important? (ignore this question if you think it is an unethical or embarassing one)

A few years ago I'd suggest mic your amp. However, nowadays VSTs are so good that even a guitar recorded direct in line can be very good.
