I'm wanting to host a supplemental one hour compo this weekend, what time would be best for everyone? I'm pretty much available Sunday between Noon and 11 PM.

1 AM i think I do however accept early submissions, since we do allow voting for a week afterwards - I'll also take late submissions under certain circumstances, since we don't want to encourage cheating. Sometimes people see the theme after the fact and are just so awed by its awesomeness that they want to participate. I understand.

Labyrinth was a good creepy song but prydef won for nostalgia. I love the hell out of it, but musically there are more fun songs to listen to. Also, I think it's great that they linked to so many ocremixes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_plug As far as I can tell and from personal experience, the smaller cords tend to be lower quality and break easier than the larger professional ones, the quality isn't in the plug itself but more the whole package.

I really enjoy this remix, this crunchy chip style is one of my favorite genres. I'm glad the judges let this one go through, a lot of good original material - it's a delicate thing, to make sure something this style is not too grating, this remix pulls it off with polish. Chips, crunchy drums and real instruments are like, my favorite juxtaposition ever. Plus zelda. It does go on for a long time but carries the energy throughout.

I'm going to suffer without autotune, but expect my entry. Does this end 11:59 EST?

The more symmetrical a controller is, the easier it seems it is to use. Take the SNES one for example, you have up down left right on one side, and a b x y on the other. start and select and two triggers. I have a thrustmaster with the same set up except it has four shoulder buttons, it's pretty perfect. I think the PS2 one is great except for the whole "pushing the analog stick" thing. What the hell is that even, L3 R3 or what?
