Wait... There have been new episodes in the last two weeks... I completely missed that. Looks like I have some catching up to do

I remember spotting this album when it first came out and... well, I was busy, then it dissapeared from infront of my face, and then I forgot about it... This time I took the time to listen and i'm glad. Surprised, more than a little, but also very happy. It's a brilliant concept, and whilst its not something anthemic i'm going to stick on again and again, it is certainly a new experience.

But the amazing thing is... it 'isn't' a melody... Sure I can sit there going 'Thats kingdom hearts, that's sonic, that's FF7' but it isn't 1 song then another... It is actually one single cohesive piece... ... ... Utterly mindbreaking and excellent

Thats actually the song I was thinking of... I've never remixed a vg song before, or mastered any music professionally, but I do have access to some members of a rock band who might help do a live recording... ...Perhaps if someone else would be up for mastering whatever we put together

I thought it was a difficult one to love at first but by half way though I was tapping along with a massive smile on my face. And I'm sure it'll grow on me more with further listens. Congrats on this, and the rest of the album halc

When I heard the guitar lead in the project trailer released last month, I was a bit concerned because what I heard followed the original fairly closely. Of course for advertisement purposes I suppose it makes sense, entice people in with something recognisable that they know... Because when the song hit for real I was blown away. This truly could be the definite take on this song, which I'm amazed to be saying in 2011 after it's already seen so many different iterations already. I love how the guitar (at first) follows the melody fairly closely whilst some great things are going on in the background. Thanks for this great mix.

This is the album i've been waiting for since last summer... I'm 3 tracks in right now and what was a pretty crap day is suddenly feeling not so bad after all. I'm really looking forward to the rest

There was a competition to come up with a music video for this song wasn't there? I checked the thread out and couldn't find who won... Either way it is an epic track, possibly one of the best on the site. Amazing

And that's the best thing about an album like this that encompasses so many different things. If I was rating the songs in order Dieselbrainage, Enter Shredder and Hot Air Penguin would number 1,2,3 as the best on the album. What I love about the latter most is that I actually get this picture of a giant behemoth literally 'wobbling' around when I listen to it.

This album coming out alone warranted me joining the forums here... After several years contributing reviews to some friends blogs, I decided recently to start somewhere I could store all my works by themselves.
