  1. Forgot about Electric Children's Year-Long Hangover - a bit more chip based, but they do some voice stuff that I really dig. In that same vein, I'd check out Truthcannon by A_Rival. Chip influenced EDM at it's finest right there.
  2. Plus the dude's young iirc; give him some years experience and I don't even wanna think about how much better he'll be than me. EDIT: Derp reading ecto beat me to it
  3. Honestly, after buying the Wii U, my only complaints are the somewhat empty install base (which is now remedied by games such as Pikmin, SM3DW, WWHD, W101, etc.) and the shitty marketing they did. People still see my Wii U and try to make the ps3/ps3 slim comparison, or even 3ds/3ds XL. I think if after this long people are STILL confusing your new console for an update of the old one, then you need to rethink your advertising campaign. Other than that, however, I think the Wii U is a quality piece of hardware and that picture complaining to nintendo was written by someone who doesn't even own the console or really know what they're talking about.
  4. I definitely have got a couple of ideas in mind, so if you're okay with it then I'd like to claim it.
  5. Just sig'd up, you folks best get all your hype over with before I knock you out of this thing
  6. An original, a collab I did for Sonic CD with Pete, and my First WCRG track fixed up a bit and sub'd just for good measure.
  7. It burns with the soul crushing power known by no other.

Or at least that's how I'd feel if it wasn't a year old.

  8. Wait you're serious, that album was tracked? Holy shit fuck whaaat
  9. cTrix's A for Amiga and George & Jonathan's The Best Music are some stellar albums that I've been listening to lately, and I think The Best Music has a real Anamanaguchi vibe that I think you'll enjoy. Also check out Kaboom! by I Fight Dragons. Where anamanaguchi has a lot of chiptunes surrounded by some guitar stuff, IFD is more rock/guitar based with some chip flourishes. It's also on my list of top albums of all time. I'll second Imposter Nostalgia and Motorway by Fearofdark as well.
  10. Can I take page one? Use any of my WCRG tracks as a sample of my work.
  11. Happy birthday to probably the nicest guy I know ever with the sexiest sax skills I couldn't get you a ton cake so just have a pound instead <3 <3 <3
  12. You can always consider a birthday a success if you end it as bumbling and incoherent as when you were first born.
  13. I really like the idea of this but I think it might run a bit smoother if you focus on a region at a time as to prevent remixes being spread out over all regions with nothing getting completed for a whole region.
  14. The smug look on that motherfuckers face
  15. Yeah fuck that guy Holy crap this compo just got real. Seriously if none of you have heard any of Funk's stuff check him out. With all the names in this compo I'm positive we're gonna have some stellar tracks.
  16. This is always my favorite trip of the year, for a good reason. Sure the music and panels are fun, but the real joy from MAG comes from hangin out with rad people. I don't think I had time to meet everybody, but I had the best time with those I did get to hang out with. Also 4-way Clinton 5evah
  17. Hey Matt, if we choose a source from Sonic Adventure, do we just get the whole shebang for action stage (like Casinopolis 1-4) or is that limited to just specific songs in the action stage? I would assume that we could use all of them, but the tracks in Sonic Adventure vary largely within zones.
  18. Even with a limiter, pumping the volume will cause issues. The best way of boosting sound (imo) is to boost it during the mastering phase with some makeup gain after compression or using an exciter or even a little bit of overdrive (be careful with that though, it can create an edge to your sound that you might not want).
