  1. Nice dude! You did a good job of converting this into a 4/4 Beat. It actually works pretty well! I noticed a low, grumbling sound throughout the whole piece which i found was a bit irritating. Maybe it's some sort of sub bass? Nice work so far and i'm looking forward to hear the polished version.
  2. Yeah, nice work. How about adding a B section or interlude, or something like that? The melodies are nice, but i think it gets a little bit repetitive after a while.
  3. That would be alright. I'm curious how this would sound in a hiphop style.
  4. Thanks! Coincidence! At the time when i started making this mix, i had no idea who Jim Brickman is. I have the idea to make a remix of this song in a funky/jazz style, Including drums. Orchestra? I've never made an orchestral remix. Maybe i'll give it a try. But i think my violin samples aren't good enough. I fear it wouldn't sound that great. I think i'll first finish the solo piano version and then i decide if i want to add more instruments. Thanks for the feedback! ( I hope my english is correct.)
  5. I think you should check the piano chords. It sounds very disharmonic and strange, especially from 0:48 - 0:59 and 1:07 - 1:17.
  6. Here is a new version of my song. http://tindeck.com/listen/acdf Now we have a jazz quartet including vibes, piano, bass and drums. Most likely I'm gonna play a vibraphone solo after the theme is finished.
  7. Thanks, I'm glad you like it! It also has a bit of a Billy Joel vibe .
  8. I'm glad you like it. Yeah, maybe i will play it with a real jazz band.
  9. Hi everyone, This is a Jazz piece in 3/4 which I wrote yesterday. Maybe i will add more instruments later. Yeah, and it should be longer. http://tindeck.com/listen/sqmm Feedback welcome.
  10. Great song! Great cover! I like how it switches from 5/4 to 3/4. Interesting chord at 0:54. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Yeah, i have two remixes here on OCR i'm working on at the moment. One of them is a solo piano interpretation of the "song of storms" from OOT. I also have some stuff on my Tindeck account.
  12. Hi there. Here is something i made some time ago. It's a solo Piano version of the Ocarina of time theme from Zelda OOT. It's pretty short and the sound quality isn't the best but i hope you will enjoy it anyway. Thanks for listening.
  13. Hi, thanks for the feedback (sorry for the late response) Yeah, i think you're right. The melody could use a bit more variation. Maybe i will add an interlude in the middle of the song to stretch the piece a little. Also thanks to Elder Kirby for your kind words.
  14. Well done, nice arrangement! I like the Jazzy chords.
  15. Hi Cash and Change It's not easy to make a remix when the source material is only about 10 seconds long. But you did a good job. I really like the parts at 1:20 and 1:58 (the first part is also nice), I like the grooves. Maybe you could seperate those parts a bit more. Because now it sounds to me like two buildups one after the other. You could experiment with the form of the song. let's see, we have A (0:19), B (1:21), C (1:59) and A (2:30). Here's an example: A, B then A again and C (Build up and climax). It's only a suggestion but maybe it can give you some ideas. Keep it up.
  16. Thanks alot for the feedback to everyone! Yes the ending isn't that great. I'll change that. I think a little bit more variation on the Chord changes couldn't hurt. And maybe i will add some piano soloing. But i'm not sure if it's necessary. A new version is in progress.
  17. Hi folks, I'm working on a solo-piano version of "song of storms". It's yet in an early stage and there are also a couple of mistakes. Just click on the link below to get an idea of what i'm going to do with the song. http://tindeck.com/listen/xlzp Comments and feedback are welcome.
  18. Hey, good job! Yes, these are obviously the sounds from the game. I like the jazzy chords and the overall groove/mood. And the melody? In my opinion, It's a little bit too complicated, not "simple" enough. It's not as catchy as the themes from the game. Nice interlude at 00:50, ending is also nice.
  19. Hi -Dan,

    Thanks for the feedback!

  20. Hello,

Thank you so much for the feedback!

  21. I think you're making some good progress. Especially the drums sounding much better now. Like Brandon said there is a lot of disharmony in the song. There are two very strange chords at 01:04 and 01:05 for example. Starting at 00:53, that Piano(?) sounds distorted. Intentionally? Nice work, Keep it up.
  22. Not bad for a first remix. I think the song goes very well with that techno style. That lead synth you are using is way too loud and a little bit annoying (at least to my ears), sorry. The arrangement is very conservative. It could use more variation. It’s a good start but it needs some work.
