It doesn't have to be official by any means...I just really like the idea and enjoy working with talented musicians. I just want to get better haha. And yeah, that's fine with me; I don't think anyone else claimed it. Do you have any other methods of communication that may be faster than forums...like for correspondence and stuff?

Joker, I'd like to hear that wip, I also wrote some lyrics for it, but if they're of a lesser caliber, I'll just scrap them. As far as the status, I very much want the project to happen/continue, but it honestly depends on if people actually want to put the time into it. If not, I'd still enjoy working with whoever does on any projects, even if they are really small.

Hi all, I released an album that was built for the purpose of practicing beat/instrumental making. (It's free unless too many people download it, which I don't fear happening) I figure most of it is far from perfect, but I was always told you have to start somewhere. I was hoping that I could get some constructive pointers from all the great musicians here. Right! I want to figure out the happy medium between good 8bit music and good modern music. They have different strengths, and I want to find the middle ground.

Meteo, yes, helps a lot thanks! I guess I didn't phrase the question in the most clear way. I didn't mean to equate good with memorable. I always think tracks like Ice Cap Zone, Elec Man's theme, and things like that are good and memorable and it seems that others agree fairly often I imagine. I'm just curious what made them good AND memorable. Like it was said before, there's tons of good tracks that aren't memorable and many tracks that are memorable but aren't good.

I'm sure this has been asked a billion times, but, what exactly makes good, memorable tunes? I've been trying to make original music for some games...but I'm not sure if I'm capturing what made the tunes of some of my favorite games so memorable. Any thoughts/suggestions on what made your favorite tunes so memorable?

Sounds good to me. I guess you can pick anyone in this thread including myself, or reach out to someone. But, are you saying you have the vocals for Aquarium Park under control, or you want someone to do that style?

JP Bad Future. Someone would have to do the arrangement though. I do hip-hop/rap type lyrics. But as long as the beat is solid, it doesn't matter what genre the arrangement ends up being. That alright?

Alright. Once again, if anyone has any updates, that would be great. Progress, ideas, samples, etc. Mysterious1ne and Street Flare...that works for me.
