  1. Tight mixing and a very energetic feel, even for the genre. Lots going on but it never feels chaotic. Nice arranging!
  2. This could use some atmospheric percussion or something steady to push it beyond "remaster with a few extra sounds". Good source choice!
  3. Really nailed the solo section, especially the organ (obvious sound choice for this but still, sweet). I agree that the tone is a bit gritty for this style but great job handling technical errors and submitting a quality mix regardless.
  4. I notice there is a steep discount on this library and I have always been interested in it. However, I don't have the full version of Kontakt and probably never will. I know the Kontakt modification is a big part of the library; are the individual WAV files worth the cheaper purchase?
  5. A journey of a mix. Can't really describe it and don't want to because the feeling is one of those better left unsaid. I can see this becoming a favorite. Amazing sense of narrative.
  6. Once again, the mix makes sense once it nears its end (those synths are super AT-like). Things are definitely clearer on the second listen. Not an easy swallow but worth the effort. The ambient side of this is deep and imaginative, not that the percussion has any issues.
  7. How about Deep Aquatic Ambience? This mix pushes the source (especially the main melody segement) into new territory, like Pandora's Box just opened in the depths and someone dove in. Beautiful mangling, great mix. That last flicker at the end is such a fine touch, inspired writing.
  8. Really nailed the delay section. Lots to complement in the sound design department overall. The jazz sounds great; it added that extra quality that put the mix together. Kudos for being eclectic.
  9. The source is always used very effectively and contrasts the harsher parts of this mix nicely. That outro and its almost calm predecessor: great stuff.
  10. Amazing themes for this mix, love the dark and formless direction. unique stuff; very good.
  11. Made for this songaweek thing on reddit. Might've went much further with the theme than expected.
  12. Love Last Day. Never played this game but this definitely conjures up imagery so you know you did well. Good mix.
  13. Oh yes, this source is fantastic. This offputing mix is psychedelic and reminds me of CotMM's work; great job twisting stuff up.
  14. The entrance of the main melody at 1:26 gave me chills; perfect overall tone for the mix and your sounds. I agree with Timaeus; the quieter parts are the only sections that would improve with volume adjustments. Interesting take on the theme, really switches up the feel but sounds natural. Good writing and a good mix.
  15. Great job using odd times to make an engaging track. The 7/4 is especially catchy.
  16. I love the offbeat and disoriented style. Great job filling out the arrangement with just a guitar.
  17. Feels totally right after browsing through Aivazovsky's artwork (seascapes/ships). I would love to hear more atmosphere-oriented orchestral music like this; now that I think of it, this mix has a very strong FFXI vibe, which is awesome. Very good mix,
  18. Great upbeat mix. Total "vintage RPG adventure" feel. I really like the varying sections; it feels like a story. Once again, excellent work,
  19. I'm still half-asleep; I was not ready for this. Narration, didgeridoo, a flute solo, and yeah, even a music box. Sinister and ingenious.
  20. The percussion is pretty sick and the atmosphere is nice and dark. This is quite the battle theme. Creative.
  21. Sounds quite nice after a frustrating night.
  22. Really? It's one of my favorites. BTW the old "Water" album sounds pretty neat out of speakers. Now I have to go convince my suitemates this is for meditation or something.
  23. I agree on the volume and the pad, but the atmsophere is solid, especially with the bass notes. Nice mix.
  24. The mixing is really getting to me but this is still well-executed. I'd say it's a battle theme worthy of a good RPG.
  25. What a mix. I like how much of it is atmosphere-focused; it moves between sections with fluidity and the more intense sections feel right. Great work, Slimy.
