  1. Great use of dynamics/volume and the varied instrumentation of an orchestra. I think the quieter tone works well for this mix, especially with the title. The ending feels off; it feels more like a transition to another scene/song in a film (like a door opening to somewhere important). Good orchestral mix.
  2. Love the intense percussion. Fun orchestral mix with a good atmosphere.
  3. Such a relentless beat for such a downbeat source. I like the breakage, but it's too dominant; there's not much else there to hold interest. I like the soundscape; however, it is underdeveloped.
  4. Awesome intro and follow-up. Very upbeat stuff. The held notes are great effects IMO but I can see how some would find them muddy. Interesting and fun mix.
  5. Interesting atmosphere in this arrangement; it feels otherworldly somehow, like I'm witnessing the decyaing life of some cave monster. That's just one take on it though. I really like the overtone of darkness, even in the lighter moments. Writing aside, great performance.
  6. I'm not familar with the source, but dang does that lead guitar fit. That solo is just menacing; great choice following it with the piano. The string section is another good arrangement choice. Very good metal mix.
  7. Spirited Away ('interest raises')? Sure enough; this mix feels very playful and surreal in a way reminiscent of Joe Hisashi. TLDR: downloaded Great writing and performing; I can already tell it's a great track for ideas and daydreaming. Awesome mix.
  8. Great sound synthesis here, as expected. That intro is sick. Aside from the electronics, great job blending orchestral instruments in. The drop section is some seriously creative writing. The beat-focused section felt like an odd way to climax things, but great mix anyways.
  9. I agree with Timaeus on it sounding like a prom song. Strong arrangement here; things build slowly while keeping interest. Good take on the source.
  10. Woah, face melting outta nowhere. That solo at 0:40 is sick; the energetic style strongly reminds me of Joshua Morse. Stellar production on everything; it's a big melting pot of sound. Sick bass work. Crazy mix! In a good way.
  11. Haha, the ungh SFX. Aside from that, I like how the reverb all fades out to a space behind the main mix. Depending on how you listen, the mix can sound tighter or more open. Later on, the reverb prevails. Fun stuff, dreamy for an EDM mix (which is bonus points IMO).
  12. Such a pleasant intro. And then a Dirty drop (is that Knife Party bass I hear?). And then somehow fairyland again. The breakdown is pretty cool too; I'm not feeling the drum outro though. Still a good mix.
  13. I would love to play this in a club just to see the reactions. Excellent job fitting sax into a dance mix so prominently. I love whatever happened at 1:18. Great clarinet work with the title theme, don't even need to look at the remixer roster to know who it is. Stellar mix, colorful as hell.
  14. Great intro, especially in the "flute" (?). The vocals were very nice; they work alongside the percussion really well to give a nice base for the lead and harmonies. What's up with the 3:28 snare? It sounds strangely industrial compared to everything else. Very good mix overall.
  15. Ah, the solemn intro is just right for the season. Pretty straightforward metal mix executed pretty solidly with some nice orchestral elements for contrast. i especially like the 2:25 buildup; strong genre-blending there.
  16. Interesting choice to have an energetic and then playing the source light. Just a good, solid rock mix. All of the little nuances like the synth during the outro and the playful guitar solo at 2:13 help it stand out and establish its own identity. Good work.
  17. Great vocals and the soft backing is pretty nice. Really, those vocals are something else. The violin solo is top-notch too. Very good mix; it's a long ballad that somehow doesn't feel that long.
  18. After reading the write-up, the images I got from the intro made me smile. And then when the main melody comes in, the wrestling entrance suddenly becomes a concert (somehow). ANYways, good rock mix; I like the thick guitar tone.
  19. Great intro; very dreamy 'scapes there. Actually, no. The whole mix is dreamy and gorgeous. This is a great ambient mix, the type that brings otherworldly images to mind. The nuances and the piano are both great in their own right, but sound awesome together. great work.
  20. Nice SFX; good ambient stuff. Groovy beat too. The Brinstar theme is incorporated well; the bass also sounds great. The solo is an interesting and good way to end it. Good genre-blending mix.
  21. Wow, the sax gave me chills upon entering. Incredible performances, great use of notes. Not much to say, awesome work. One take...
  22. I like how melodically driven this mix is; it especially shines in the 2:40 section (nice halftime too). The soundscape is pretty nice; good sound choices. Good stuff.
  23. Definitely sounds like NieR. I haven't heard many Vocoloid pieces, but the tone in this one seems better, more articulate. I agree on the backing being strong; it certainly helps when I don't comprehend the lyrics. Also found this fun to improv snare solos over for some reason.
  24. All of the performances sound great. As Vaizar said, very peaceful. The percussive tones are pretty cool and the subtle electronic work is a very nice touch.
  25. Agh, more reverb on the piano intro please. Definitely stiff. However, the rest sounds spot-on. I like the acid-like bass, some nice texture there. The whistle synth also sounds great. The energetic sound really fits the source even though it's more of a ballad; good work there. Very good EDM mix overall.
