  1. pft XD Very jolly indeed. hehe lovely spirit. :3 From 2:30 on is almost like a wedding. A jolly jolly wedding. XD
  2. The star-tinkle sounds give this mix an enchanting feel. Yup, tinkles. Tinkle tinkle. n.n Enchanting exploration. ^__^ Particularly like the melody from 3:10-3:33. Ah, this could be a star road theme in Mario.
  3. Yeaaah, kickin' >:3 I'd also add this to my Quake playlist. Fantastic horror atmosphere for mowing down demons.
  4. Nice. I like the ghostly howl at 2:45 and the xylophone(?) at 2:59. It's a slow build-up, but great from 1:00 on.
  5. I never thought this melody could sound relaxing... but here we are. After the intro, the haunted feeling of the area is dispelled.
  6. I don't know the source, but I'm getting a FF/CT vibe with some Tales thrown in. Maybe I'm hearing a little FF VI 'Omen' too, which is what I know SnappleMan's work from. Enjoyable fight music. >:3 The tune is fast but not too fast. There's still a lot of power behind it, while the chippy elements provides a nice 16 bit feel. I can't single out any favourite bits. It's all good.
  7. B&B. Great pairing as always. And, I think, not much time to put the first draft together for the contest. What's there to say? It's a floating island (continent ). It's metal. It's great. The turn at 3:28 is pretty cool. Would definitely play this over the source for some playthroughs. ... New Continent is metal, yiss. :u *devil's horns* \--/
  8. Very much fits the title. A sad yet calming theme after travelling through a forest. As sombre as the source.
  9. Inspired! Powerful I'd gladly replace the source with this piece. I like the humming (or quiet choir?) you've got at 1:17. It's good contrast with the more prominent choir at 1:58.
  10. Addictive! And impressively space-y. What a great follow up to Bust This Groove.
  11. ... Yeah, definite miscommunication here through text and smiley. I apologise for sullying the thread. I'll be more careful from here on out. "Praise in public, criticism in private" doesn't mean don't critique or provide feedback. It means - not to insult someone publically in front of everyone (doesn't really help anyone and gets people upset) - or provide criticism in an unduly harsh way (eg. 'Your playing is shite and your arrangement is bollocks.'). That stuff is not cool, especially when people feel they have to defend themselves or lose respect in front of others. I felt insulted when you shouted at me to get my own opinion. Ergo, here we've come. /my last off-topic response in this thread --- Klogg is Dead is great XD Alright, the Umgah critter scares me. Nice theme, though. Earthworm Jim!
  12. Ahhh you guys! Between this and the Dodge Ball albums, I'm going to finally have to make a Sports music folder. My geek cred will hurt. XD This is awesome.
  13. So it's a bad crazy. Got it XD Still... the soundtrack is eclectic and some are alright.
  14. Ah, improvements. Now to change the title hmm... In this thread, Nutritious says... Remixers will post their mixes as normal in the forums, flagging them as either Work-in-Progress, Finished, or Mod Review. Work-in-Progress mixes include any song currently being worked on that is not in its final, submittable form. At this stage, mixers should solicit feedback from regular forum members on production and arrangement improvements. Once the mix is completed, the mixer will change the status of the mix to Finished. Changing the status is done via the "Go Advanced" button when editing the first post. A track being marked Finished means that the mixer feels that the song is in its completed form and is ready to be submitted. Mixers continue to gain feedback from other forum members with extra details and finishing touches to the mix. Finally, this mixer will mark his thread as Mod Review. At this point, the mixer MUST post a link to the original soure tune being remixed. We prefer YouTube or a link to the chiptune on OCR, if either is available. Then, a Workshop Admin will listen to the song and present feedback based on the submissions standards of OverClocked ReMix. Once they have posted their review, the Mod will revert the tag to Finished. Depending on the feedback, the mixer can choose to revert their thread to Work-in-Progress and continue working on the song, or go ahead with the submissions process to the site.
  15. Ah, Ocarina of Time. I remember passing the last dungeon then standing outside Ganon's castle going 'Nope. Not another dungeon right now!' and turning off the game. Didn't come back for a few months to finish it. After the spirit or shadow temple, I just couldn't take another one so soon.
