  1. Oh, my... It's like a snowball - it becomes more and more complex with each second, and then you suddenly find yourself drowned in the haunting, disturbing atmosphere of this mix. Even when it drops at 3:16, it still feels tense. And when it picks up again at 5:16, a new wave of emothions covers you again. So neat work! I would like to hear an infinitely extended version of this...
  2. This is probably my most favorite JM's mix to date. An excellent four-on-the-floor take on one of the most popular CV song - do you need more? I don't think so... The intro is long, sure, but when it finally picks up at 0:52.. Oh, you better hear this. I like how the electric guitar sinks in meaty beats - it sounds completly awesome. And dat bass... Oh, so sweet!
  3. Heavy, in-your-face, badass as always. Love the chippy synths; the mix of chips and rock seems to be really cool idea Tight mix, Juan!
  4. Yeah... The original is definitely not my favorite from the game, but I like how it's handled here. I especially love the piano. Sounds very fresh and juicy. Awesome, man!
  5. Hey everyone! One week until the next deadline, so prepare ya WiPs. Just in case, this deadline is for: jnWake Ryan Jobson GaMeBoX wch090 DrumUltima Tuberz McGee rebrained Don't let me down!
  6. This is aweome. The sax is so gorgeous <3 The piano is gloomy yet light . The guitar is chillin'. The soft percussion is great as well. I love the dreamy atmosphere oh this mix. A true classic!
  7. Oh... This is different from the original. But it still has the same emotions. The acoustic instrumentation is so neat. Especially the percussion. The vocals are a bit flat sometimes, but they're good anyway. Superb work!
  8. This is crazy and unexpected in many ways. The first FTW came when the epic orchestral intro suddenly turned into swing jazz. The second one was at 2:26, when I heard that chippy break. But the brass... just mind-bloing. And the playful piano is awesome too. Love it!
  9. Ok, I don't find it liberal and have no problems with recogizing the source. I love how Will handled the orginal source tune, which sounded dark and gloomy. Will made it shine. It's still dark a bit, but has a unique flavor. It's badass. It's groovy. I love how he used various sfx. My most favorite moment here are drop-off at 1:32. It gives this mix some charm. Awesome!
  10. Y No Zeal? Anyway, I'm looking forward to the release! I love jazz
  11. This is literally cool take on this famous theme. The classical lounge is an awesome idea for this track. Love the dreamy atmosphere of it. Those soaring vocals are so damn great. Love it <3
  12. Oh, I love this track so much. It avoids sounding like a medley as much as possible and that's cool. I love how the mood changes throught the track - from something hopeful it changes to aggresive and pumping and sort of upbeat. Though, I like the "hopeful" section (0:00 - 3:57) more becuase of cold piano licks. Simply amazing!
  13. I enjoyed this kickass mix, sure, but I would enjoy it more if it was longer. This mix sounds like a teaser for something bigger, something more epic, something more mind-blowing. Anyway, this is great work!
  14. Very creative take on this theme. I love both of them from B&R, even though they're diametrically opposite. My most favorite section here is 1:18 - 2:37. The piano licks are very good. And the wacky bassline, coupled with acoustic drums is good as well. The rest of track is very cool too; it's more EDM than the middle section. Great job!
  15. I love when good old VGM pieces are given good old rock treatment. Classic rock tune with some heavy shreddage, pounding drums and epic vocals. Simply amazing!
  16. I don't care what is the real genre of this piece - I just enjoy it. For its length it sounds a bit repetitive, but I'm glad it has a lot of small drop-offs and subtle changes, like the lovely piano-led section a 2:22, so it's not a big prblem. Nice work!
  17. Those crunchy lo-fi beats is a great way to start a truly amazing mix I love when the piano comes in at 0:10. It sounds mean, yet playful. Love the small orchestral break at 0:49. Another break at 1:34 (this time with sorta marching drums) is a nice touch as well. The third bit of orchestra starts at 2:53, which is different from previous ones, sounds like being climax of this mix. The electronica elements sound fine as well. So this mix for me is clearly battle of synthetic and organic, of any two opposites, you name it. Love it!
  18. Heavy, in-your-face yet amazing. The mix has great instrumentation, love every little touch. The structure is mind-blowing as well - the combination of heavier parts with more shreddage & pounding drums and parts with the piano & acoustic guitar is really cool. Great, Adam!
  19. Gritty, hard-hitting, and awesome. That bass is so damn sweet. Love the percussion at 2:30 - nice touch. Tight stuff, Mr. Aversa!
  20. Josh Whelchel and Melinda Hershey has 3 collabs posted here. "Forever, Young Rachel" and "Shine Tonight" use their group name - "Poolside", while "Power of the Meat" is tagged just with their artist names. Fix this, please.
  21. Oh god. This needs an infinite extension. It's so delightful. The instrumentation is so neat - orchestra, piano, acoustic guiatrs and soft percussion. I love how varied this mix is - from powerful orchestra sections it changes to more laid-back ones - with guitars, piano and soft percussion, and vise versa. This is definitely staff roll theme - relaxing, soaring, uplifting, with strong sense of joy. It's perfect to listen to during sunset. Great work!
  22. Creativity. Though, I like various ReMixes in various styles and I can't say that I love one type of tracks more than other. Speaking of instrumentation, I actually enjoy vivid brass most of all and funk bits in general. But this is subjective opinion
  23. I've mentioned this problem in the ReMix thread, but still decided to create a threed here. "Corrupter of Time" is incorrectly tagged. See? It lacks Tweex as an artist. Fix that, please.
