So, technically, if I submitted a remix TODAY and named it "Seven years", it might have a chance to get posted on the 7th of December this year, even though that would mean it would bubble past like 100 other mixes waiting to get posted (provided it got voted on in time, that is)?

How is this in any way better than using a torrent and picking out the ones you want to download, skipping the rest? I mean, it would be cool and all, but... actually, what WOULD be cool is if the downloader could find OCReMixes with incorrect tags and fix them instead of having you redownload the whole song.

Weird, I didn't see this until now. Also, I don't remember pixietricks singing this well last time I heard her. Very interesting mix. It's very dark and sci-fi. The reverb is a little excessive for my taste, but it fits the mix.

Can I just ask how the vocals were processed - did you use any kind of autotune or layering? Or is this just chorus and flanger?

Lulz Afaik, distinguished members of the boards get to pick a unique avatar. I don't know if it's enough to be a distinguished ReMixer. Or if random, non-game characters are ok, or even if this is one. Googling for "blindman" found me another japanese, strange band I'd never heard of before. LT: It's enough to be a ReMixer, sure. ReMixers are OCR's primary contributors.

I didn't realize the inbox checking was the hold-up. There are still 15 unjudged mixes in the queue. Of course, if all of those have been voted on by the same 3 people (or however many votes are needed for a pass -1), then those people COULD be voting on other mixes if they had been added to the queue from the inbox. But I really doubt that's the case (even though afaik it's happened before). EDIT: Make that 14.

This was made with another guitar and a free vst plugin for distortion. I'll rerecord with my new guitar, tuned and everything, through the pod with nicer distortion, and I'll also make sure to play better next time.

Sorry to hear about djp not having the time to make any mixes, it would be great to hear more from him. This is pretty badass, if a little over-compressed, it's like the whole sound is crushed, making it difficult to listen to individual instruments, which is a shame. Guitar sound and performance is awesome. Snare sound gets a little repetitive after a while. Arrangement-wise, this feels really liberal, it's easy to forget what it's a remix of. Not that it's an issue. I agree with the previous poster, you should make a Mega Man X remix, as you're one of few people who could make a good one.

"Oof"? Yeah, I know the guitar sucks. I bought a new one and a Pod for it, so all I need to do now is play on the right frets and in tempo.

It can you show you tabs pretty intelligently, right? I have Cakewalk Pro, and the tabs it makes are impossible to play.
