  1. Something tells me that's a pretty insignificant thing, because as far as I can tell, my PS3 makes my PS2 games run faster, smoother and look better than they ever did on my old tv and PS2 system.
  2. Looks like I better get crackin' then, now that I've been brought on. I'll do my best to conform to society!
  3. The electric guitar. The multi-track recorder. Electronic echo. A true legend has passed. Les, a fellow redheaded rocker, was born in my home town of Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was my hero growing up. Can't wait to get home and do a little strumming on my own Les Paul in honor of the man himself. RIP, Wizard of Waukesha.
  4. Thought you guys might like to see this if you haven't already: http://kotaku.com/5318013/final-fantasy-iv-gets-overclocked
  5. I'm really digging this track. It's 80 degrees and sunny outside right now, so the timing is just right. I can't help but move around to this. Feels good.
  6. Wow! Great remix! Whenever I come back to this site, I always anticipate the next vocal remix and this certainly doesn't disappoint. It's beautifully crafted and performed. You sound like you have total control of your voice. Every aspect if this song works as it should. Bravo!
  7. Gamestop is not recommended. They marked up the MSRP by $5.00 in their stores on the WM+. However, if you buy Tiger Woods with it bundled, you'll pay normal price, but risk receiving an opened copy sold as 'new', since for whatever reason that's Gamestop's policy these days.
  8. It's worth noting that the only truly complete 1:1 motion (at least with what I've encountered so far) in Tiger Woods is with the putting motions during regular golf and in the disc golf mini-game where you have completely and total control of the disc. This game is nearly worth having for the disc golf game alone, as it's amazingly addictive. It also really shows off what the Wii Motion Plus can do. Just holding onto the disc and twisting your wrist and then watching the hand on the screen following your every move is really neat. This thing breathed new life into my Wii overnight, as I probably played for a good 5 hours and now that I'm at work today, I'm really itching to get home and play some more. This is truly what I've been wanting the Wii to be like all along. I was skeptical when they first announced the WM+, but now I'm a firm believer in its ability to make gaming more fun.
  9. I love how bubbly and organic this tune sounds. Very cool. Tight beats. Solid production. The breakdown in the middle is groovalicious. Fun track all around. Very cool x 2.
  10. Love this mix! God, I'd love to sing to something like this.
  11. I would doubt it if OCR hadn't already released an album for a commercial game soundtrack, but since I've seen it can happen, then I believe that anything's possible at this point.
  12. The magazine rack in my bathroom disagrees. That being said, I'm glad I still get Game Developer for free or I'd seriously be jonesing for some throne room material.
  13. I can't believe we sang nearly the entire Dr. Horrible soundtrack in jamspace, LIVE. Escariot's girlfriend sounds just like Penny, only better, honestly. Crazy. As things go, there wasn't nearly enough time in the world to hang out with absolutely everyone like I wanted to, so I'm kinda sad about that, but so glad to have had so much fun with so many people. Love you guys. That composer's panel contained a pretty epic turnout of professionals and cool dudes alike. Very nice. A+ Oh yeah, and I lost my voice on the last night of the concerts. It was that good.
  14. I couldn't get the site to work for me in firefox, but it works like a peach in IE. I banged through a buttload of surveys and got myself 600 coins.
  15. We bought this hdtv (46" Samsung) last week and I have to say the difference between it and our old sdtv is HUGE. I now swear by the powers of hdtv. It also creates a nice glow throughout our entire home. We have a tiny home.
  16. Yeah, I've got this flying helicopter robot monster thing I created that I'm flying around in and it's providing a bit of hilarity with how awkwardly gigantic and ridiculous it looks.
  17. This game is rad. Nutty Acres is incredibly awesome to see for the very first time. The music is great. The characters are great. The missions themselves are fun, if a bit repetitive, but otherwise a really fun game. Klungo's Arcade is a nice departure from the other stuff and there's lots of secrets to be found so far and I'm barely through the game. I'm totally addicted to vehicle creation and just exploring the different worlds with my own creations. Fun!
  18. I played the demo for about 3 hours straight last night. A demo. Demos aren't supposed to be that engaging as far as I can remember. So today, I'm sitting here at work and I can't wait to get home and play some more. It's a fun game, for sure, though I do hope though that the entire game doesn't completely rely on vehicle based missions to keep things interesting. I really want more exploration and classic platforming, but I'm not holding my breath for that. It seems like Rare is pushing the vehicle aspect of the game pretty hard. + Pretty game! Graphics are top notch. + Controls are pretty tight. Vehicles are hard to handle at first, but like GTA4, you have to give it some time until you adjust to it. + Of what I could read, the dialogue was hilarious. Classic Rare humor. + OMG, the music is fantastic. Big ups to Grant Kirkhope and crew for doing a phenomenal job with the audio. A wave of nostalgia washed over me as I played through Banjo Land. + Vehicle creation is very simple, easy and straight forward. The interface is quite intuitive. - I couldn't read the text. My eyes were hurting and my head was aching. Even as I put my face up to my tv screen, I still couldn't make out entire sentences. I hope there's an option for people with SDTV's to get larger text. I'm in trouble otherwise. - The vehicle based missions were enjoyable, but a little generic too. I'm waiting to see how the entire game plays out this way, if in fact all missions require a vehicle. My fingers are crossed.
  19. yay, more shnab! \o/ I'd love to hear this live. haha, you're really having some fun around 3:00. Too cool.
  20. That's awesome. I'd love to hear a full rock song performed solely using that setup, along with some virtual bass and drums of course. It would be fun to see (after sequencing the guitars as professionally as possible like bgc mentioned) how many people it would fool into thinking it was all performed the traditional way.
  21. Sounds good. Getting those lyrics translated asap would definitely help a lot, as it will help prevent me from making up my own stuff before I even know what it is I'm singing about, if that makes sense. I'm not too familiar with the song, but I did a youtube search last night. Is this the right track? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=610aHM-lJc0 I also found the instrumental track, so that gives me something to practice with on my own. I felt fairly comfortable with the vocal range, but the real audition comes when I go to record my voice for the first time, then listen back to see what I think. I'm very picky about my own vocals, so if I like how I sound, then I'll show you what I got so you can chime in with your opinion. If I don't feel like I fit, then I'll let you know right away.
  22. I'll give it a shot. I guess I'll need the english translation of the original lyrics to work from then, so I can try it out?
  23. If I can be of any help as a lyricist/vocalist, let me know. Check out my remixes on this site, my personal web page and the current/neverending Tales project for references.
