  1. They probably will keep that feature, since they put an IR sensor in the DS card for it to communicate with the PokeWalker. This also means that the old Trainer House - where you could battle your friend's current party in Viridian City for Exp - will also likely return.
  2. I hate Elfen Lied. A LOT. Go away.
  3. Ah man... Pokecenter mixes almost always seem hard to pull off. The old R/B & G/S Pokecenter music is so grating... hell, I'd say it only got tolerable for more than a few seconds just with Diamond & Pearl. When you source tune can be annoying, it doesn't seem easy to make it rock. I will have mad respect for you guys if you can make it work.
  4. oh man that's awesome Agreed. With Hale harmonizing with Taucer, this track is gonna rock.
  5. It's official: this project is now going to be my favorite.
  6. Chris Hansen's favorite game is Age of Booty.
  7. classic edit: you know, I was a fan of the original, to a point. i wish i had some kind of musical skill, because at least i'd be interested.
  8. I re-read an interview recently (it's interesting!), and in it the president of the Pokemon Company & the director of Platinum are asked flat-out why Game Freak itself has never tried for a console or MMO Pokemon game. Their answer is not wholly satisfying, but it was an aspect I hadn't considered: trading. See, most of us just focus on the overworld & battling, but trading is just as - if not moreso - important than those, when considering Pokemon's success. On console games, you have set times when you play, you need a TV, etc. Handhelds are an all-inclusive package, so they're perfect for quick setups, free time and traveling. As much as I'd like a MMO-style game in the Pokemon world, it would require me ot sit at my desk for much longer than I already do, whereas with Pokemon as it is now, I can take it with me around the house and on the road. EDIT: here's a new demo video with much better video quality. It shows a lot of stuff that the guy from Pokebeach didn't bother with, and the guy playing actually has a clue what he's doing. Shows Ecruteak City and the Dance Hall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_vgK1cObRI
  9. I know djp's gonna do what djp's gonna do, but I gotta say... K. Rool Returns, to me, just screams out for "Pirates-of-the-Carribean-soundtrack-esq." I've been thinking about this for a very long time, though.
  10. There's no way I could wait several years just to buy the third version... I have to have the newest fix. Aside from that, though, Platinum's expansion of Giratina's presence has turned it into one of my all-time favorites. Everything about it holds my interest. I used to get the third versions used to save money... Emerald, Yellow, Crystal. Who knows what direction the next batch of games will go in, though, or even what hardware it they will run on?
  11. It might have something to do with how Platinum was coded. In ROM-editing software, Platinum is treated like a seperate game. Even codes that you'd think would be universal - codes that work in DP - don't always work in Platinum. It's probably because they don't want to have to split their dedicated servers between DP and Pt players... I dunno. Maybe it's just to drive sales of Platinum. I mean, honestly? That doesn't bother me. Platinum is so much better than DP, it's almost like the "true" version while DP is the "let's get it out as fast as we can" version. Save the Pursuit glitch, but eh, the Lost Zone glitch in early copies of Japanese DP was way worse than that.
  12. It ought to run at Platinum speed, which was only a few fractions of a second slower than RSE. I was watching this video, and it seems to be the case. It's a wireless battle, though, so it's hard to tell what the timing will be like for certain things. I also have a DSTT now, though, so it's all good my good man. I guess it was just announced that they're giving away Darkrai on Wifi from August 3rd to September 13th. Platinum only, though. Haha, I have so many damned legendaries these days...
  13. here's hoping you guys make lots of sweet music together :] ...litterally and figuratively.
  14. Tracks I enjoyed the most, in no particular order! Survival Instinct Smooth Sun of Magma Long Time Gone Goodbye Cid... Fallen Dragoon Kinda Green Read the Sine Mystic Variations Path of Deception I'll be listening to these! Congrats on the album release and all the hard work, guys. Also, I had a good laugh at Rhymes With Elixer. All in good fun.
  15. I AM ONLY GOING TO ASK ONCE Please stop tagging album tracks with crap like "Act 1:3", etc. It's very time-consuming to go through and retag all these tracks. This is what we have track numbers for :] THAT IS ALL, CARRY ON
  16. Funny, Audix had something different to say about the matter.
  17. Really liked what I've heard. Fishy's track really reeled me back in just when I thought it was winding down... twice! Man, those strings caught me off guard. The piano coming in at the end was a great touch. And thankfully, it doesn't get too over-indulgent during the guitar solos Very solid progressive rock tribute. I loved it. Audix also did an amazing job with his track! The pacing and energy is spot-on... "really fantastic" is all I can muster. Also... the minute and a half portion... is that part of Audix's song, or is that part of another song? I ask only because the melody doesn't jog my memory.
  18. They should remake Global Guts & Legends of the Hidden Temple. And even though it was PBS, they should totally bring back Where in the World is Carmen San Diego.
  19. sure, my fc's 0173 7222 4655 post your codes and i can do the trades after 5PM tomorrow
