  1. If I have to fight that thing one more goddamn time after I've already killed it and obtained the powerup it was carrying...
  2. Trolls don't heal themselves constantly UNLIKE THOSE GODDAMNED FROST ATRONACHS
  3. It's a huge game, honestly, and that's not counting dungeons and caves. The overworld alone... is simply staggeringly huge. Although I do feel like the cities aren't as populous as they could be, especially as regards putting in nonessential NPCs that you can't interact with beyond light conversation or killing for their clothes... ... Hehe.
  4. Speechcraft is used to improve disposition, and this is especially good for shopkeepers so you can get better deals on stuff. Not that you're ever going to be buying what they have to sell...
  5. I am older than Mario. I am not a thousandth as popular.
  6. No, what I meant was that they won't show you on the minimap where the item is until you beat all the enemies in the room... And unlike Prime the items don't give off a noise to help you find them.
  7. Okay, so after two hours of play my thoughts so far: Where the hell is that damn powerup?! I'm pretty sure I've missed some in the early segment of the bottle ship before you turn the power back on but hell if I know that for certain. One thing I'm definitely NOT pleased with is the stipulation that you must destroy all enemies in a given room for the power-up to appear. It basically turns the search for items from an actual search to a "kill-em-all" routine where every room might have an item and therefore every room is a miniboss unto itself.
  8. OA, you need to put on some blackface and be Sisko. Seriously. It'll be funny.
  9. Isn't this a sequel to Drakengard?
  10. This got moved to off-topic because it is exactly that. Opeth have nothing to do with video games or video game music and therefore neither does this guy who started this thread singing along to growler and death metal. Like I said previously, bullshit.
  11. You know what this sounds like to me? Bullshit.
  12. I've already listed this one and other similar statements with a blanket phrase. And you should write this out as "furniture explodes when shot."
  13. I looked at that first post and I thought "wow, someone's butthurt."
  14. The real question is why does it bother you so much?
  15. Does anyone get the story anymore? Because I got lost.
  16. Let's see... Mega Man series, Legends, Battle Network... Yep, that's three versions. I almost added in the X series and the remakes but they don't really count, do they?
  17. ITT Brandon wouldn't know good music if it slept with his mom.
  18. Two things first Opeth's singer does actually sing and so should you second branch the fuck out and try different songs from different performers and different styles of music so you don't end up making a bunch of crap nobody wants to hear.
  19. Ocelot is so a villain. A stupid one, too.
  20. U.N. Squadron? You mean Area 88?
  21. I've got one more to add that I don't feel like editing a previous post with: It is better to play with people you know than with people you don't; despite that you don't always have a choice and in being thrust into a random encounter with people you have never met before you can still wind up with a valuable friend. More often than not, though, they'll turn out to be jerks.
  22. Star Fox taught me that if my ship has antigravity on it, snap-rolls will deflect any and all energy weapons harmlessly into the scenery. Video games have also taught me that the only buildings with people in them are the ones you can walk into yourself, and everyone else walks on the street all the time.
  23. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Flags_America#Current_Roller_coasters Aw man, they had bumper cars? Crap!
  24. It's nice to see some works in progress covering material from the Battle Network series; I have fond memories of the first three games, especially musically and this one strikes very close to the heart. The way it manages to capture the essence of the network while also bearing influence from other periods in the History of Megaman... I'm not a trained musician and I judge things primarily on how they sound and how that sound affects me so being that I don't hear any problems with the equalization or any note-for-note, sound-for-sound copying of the source soundchip I don't see that there's anything I can tell you to do with this mix other than submit it to the panel and hope they like it.
