  1. You should let the people who are in charge of running the project run the project. If you "hate to be the one to do this," don't do it.
  2. No, but there should be. Some sigs are getting kind of big.

  3. If someone asks to stop music, you stop. If you're playing music, make sure you pay attention to voice chat and text chat, because if you miss it and you don't stop after repeatedly being asked, I'm not gonna mute ya, I'm gonna boot ya.
  4. Your posts aren't going through because your username is Hyundai Sonata, which makes it look like you're a spambot to the forum software, so your posts and threads are automatically moderated. The only way to solve this problem is to change your username, which I can do for you.
  5. I loved Bleach when it was about Ichigo and Rukia going around town hunting hollows. Those were really interesting stories about life and death and unfinished business; it was a wonderful premise. As soon as they left the world and went to Soul Society, the series took a dramatic dive in quality. It degenerated into a very standard people-with-special-powers, battles-of-oneupsmanship, train-harder-to-gain-a-new-form series, which normally I do not mind because hey, I read Naruto. My issues are that the pacing of the manga is very slow and it takes way too long for things to happen; a lot of characters wear the same exact thing, which makes it difficult to differentiate; and that Tite Kubo's art, particularly during battles, ends up looking a lot like black smudges than anything more dynamic and detailed. What's worse is that I know he can do much better; I've read Zombie Powder. I don't mind shounen anime cliches, but Bleach doesn't particularly do them very well.
  6. Yeah, Kai's been airing in Japan for a while now. The basic idea was that when they were making the show, the manga was still running, so like a lot of adaptations of shounen fighting manga, they had to stretch out the series to stick with the pace of what was being published in Weekly Shounen Jump. This resulted in a massive amount of filler as well as really horrible pacing of single episodes (i.e. characters standing around for a long time not doing anything, drawn out powerup sequences, etc.). People criticize DBZ for its horrible pacing without realizing that the manga it's based on just isn't like that. A powerup sequence in the manga is like, one page. DBZ reads a lot faster than it watches, and Dragonball Kai (the show doesn't have 'Z' in the title in Japan) basically pares down the anime quite a bit to match the pacing to Toriyama's original work. The funny thing is that a lot of fans of DBZ are whining about Kai, saying "WTF it's basically DBZ with everything cut out!!" without realizing that this is what the anime was supposed to be like in the first place.
  7. No I'm not talking about the anime, I'm talking about the manga. Bleach is terrible.
  8. Knock it off and get back on topic.
  9. You don't understand. I love shounen fighting manga/anime. Bleach is terrible.
  10. MAKOTO! http://www.giantbomb.com/makoto/94-888/all-images/52-295378/makoto/51-182036/ Her theme is also already remixed on OCR.
  11. The people buying the games used aren't actually supporting them though.
  12. Maybe you need to develop a sense of how complicated and involved creating a digital world actually is. Go ahead, start up a development studio and try to make a complex game like GTA4. See how much it costs you.
  13. Belongs in Community. Moved.
  14. When? When has this happened with MMOs? How is this even possible? MMOs have two business models: subscription and microtransaction. And 20 bucks is still way cheaper than 60. Is it so bad that you throw 10 bucks EA's way so that they can continue to develop a series that you obviously enjoy? Really, that's your rebuttal? You've misunderstood what's actually happening, I point out the facts, and all you can say is "yeah right?" No, you didn't have to buy the collectors edition to get your Cerberus Network access. It came with every copy that was new. You can still look for a deal. I rarely pay full price for new games anymore. I buy online, use coupons, and wait for sales.
  15. Bleach is terrible.
  16. Maybe it's because he's subscribed to the thread? He's not stalking you. Take a chill pill.
  17. They did do this with ME2. It's called the Cerberus Network, and it's for all the free DLC that you get with the game. Buy the game new, you get access to the Cerberus Network for new weapons, quests, etc. Buy the game used, you gotta pay up for a Cerberus Network pass. TOR is an MMO, so I don't even know why you're bringing that up. So wait until it's economical to buy it or do without. It's the same argument I have against people who try to justify piracy: if you're not willing to pay the asking price, then don't play the game. You're flat out wrong. Buy new, you get the pass. Buy used, you pay 10 extra. Nobody's charging you 10 bucks on top of the 60 dollar new-and-shiny retail price. Did you buy those games new or used? Because if you bought them new, you wouldn't have been hit with any extra fees anyway, so it would have been exactly the same. If you bought those games used, then the publisher wouldn't have counted that as a sale anyway, because they didn't make any profit off of your purchase; they wouldn't notice a drop in sales because they don't keep track of used sales anyway. There are more important things in the world to be scared of than online fees for video games.
  18. I don't see the big deal. The used game market kills developers and is the lifeblood of shitty retailers like Gamestop. Anything that puts a dent in their business is fine by me. It's not like you save that much buying recently released used games anyway. You could buy a new game on Amazon for just as much, or even less.
  19. No, he's right. True Brit is amazing.
  20. What if Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van had a rocketship big enough to save themselves along either infant son Kal-El? What if they also went to Earth? There's a new 3-issue Elseworlds mini-series that DC is putting out this August that runs with that premise. Solicitation on DC's Site Interview with Cary Bates, the writer I love Superman stories that examine and spin the origin in interesting ways (like Red Son). This should be pretty exciting.
  21. We have trains.
  22. What's wrong with that?
