Right? I love it. Up next is a blast from the past. It's the opening to 2003's Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider 555. Here's Justiφ's ("Justifaiz") by ISSA. This song's got a great driving beat and the melody in the verse is awesome. Also love the random English thrown in, like "can you feel?" and "time to go." xD CLASSIC!

Yeah it's because of moderator approval. Will talk to djpretzel about making a "schedulers" group for approved members that we trust enough to bypass mod approval for event creation/editing. Regular compo runners (MW, Bund, hoboka) will be added to it.

I'm closing this up. You guys don't have any actual musical content on your page, and also advertising your music in Community is something only posted remixers are allowed to do.
-
No, it never was going to "be a thing." If you don't like something, ignore it and don't reply to it. We're never going to choose to aggregate negativity. All that does is foster hostility in the community.

Nope. Everyone has a warning level. Yours is zero, which means you haven't gotten any warnings. vBulletin had a warning system too but we never used it and it was never exposed to the general populace.

I'm looking into getting a mechanical keyboard at home because the Razer gaming keyboard I have just isn't cutting it. What are some good mechanical keyboards? Anyone have any recommendations? Good deals?

It...wasn't supposed to work in the previous forum? As far as I can remember, we've never allowed image uploading to OCR. Not on Invision, not on vBulletin, not on phpBB.

You need to host your image somewhere else.

If you want to organize raid nights, be sure to use the community calendar. http://ocremix.org/community/calendar/ -
Yep. I agree it's silly, but it has to do with how Invision does a page numbers thing in URLs for specific posts. A per-user setting makes page numbers for posts inconsistent across the board. It's the same reason you can't set a custom number of posts per page. I don't really agree with Invision's stance on the whole thing but that's part of their design philosophy. There are obviously ways of doing it that work in other forum software, but we're not interested in getting into heavy modifications and rewrites of Invision. The majority of forum users use chronological post order. All I can really tell people at this point is try to adjust to it.

This is not possible in Invision out of the box. Discussions on Invision's site indicate no options availble on the per-user level that enables this. We'll keep an eye out for plugins in the future that provide this functionality, but I recommend getting used to first-post-first.

Next up is probably one of my favorite new toku songs. I couldn't find a YouTube video of this one, but someone uploaded the song to soundcloud. This is the theme of Kamen Rider #3, from the latest Kamen Rider movie. It's sung by the actor that plays the character, Mitsuhiro Oikawa. It's called Who's That Guy? https://soundcloud.com/njs10/kamen-rider-3-whos-that-guy-full This song is such a change of pace from the typical J-rock you usually get in Kamen Rider; really synthy texture, killer beats, and great vocals. Hit it!

Wasn't referring to you, just where timaeus was taking the discussion. WYSIWIG editor isn't working in mobile browsers for some reason. Chrome and Safari on iOS don't provide WYSIWYG controls either. Could be an issue. They were! User-title fields allow less characters in Invision, so HTML links in titles isn't something we can do all-the-time/easily. How are you trying to rename your thread? Double-clicking? Because that doesn't work anymore. You need to click the grey-gear on the topic's mouseover and click 'Edit title.' The "banner" for regular users.

P4A's story mode isn't an RPG mode; it's much closer to a visual novel. It's also the canonical continuation and intersection of P3 and P4 storylines.

jQuery is literally a JavaScript library. If people are choosing to disable JavaScript, then they're operating under the assumption that a lot of client-side functionality on the web is going to be unavailable to them. Let's not get into the weeds here, guys.

Reverse chron order for posts on a per-user basis is something that Invision just doesn't support out of the box. You can, however, click the date in the latest reply column of the topic which will take you to the last post. There's also topic previews. When you mouseover any topic on the forum, there's a little black circle with a down arrow that appears in it. Here's what happens when you click it: As you can see, it shows a couple of things: a preview of the first post, a preview of the first unread post, and a preview of the last post. You can click on those "first, first unread, last" links to take you directly to those posts. Try it out.

Click on "What's New?" in the top right corner and mess with the options there. Alternatively, click your name in the top right, and click "Content I Follow." Both are analogous to vB's old UserCP view.

Back on topic, folks.

The move to Invision has given us a couple of new capabilities that we're going to try to use a lot more moving forward. One of these things is the calendar application. You've probably seen the "Upcoming Events" box on the forum listing's sidebar filled with some competitions dates and stuff. Competitions runners are using the calendar app to list dates for mixing and voting periods, which is really useful. But we don't want to use the calendar just for competitions. We've also got a separate Community calendar that anyone can submit events to. http://ocremix.org/community/calendar/ If you have some kind of community event coming up, like a game night (Mario Kart, TF2, MMO raids, etc.), a listening party, or something else, head over to the community calendar and create an event. When creating your event, include as much information as you can and try to make the post look nice. All events are subject to moderator approval for the time being while we get used to using the calendar application. We'll eventually have a "Schedulers" user group set up for people who consistently submit good events; those people will be able to bypass moderator approval on events. If you have any questions about using the calendar and what kind of events are okay to submit, post here.

You might find this to be interesting. Tatsuo, the guitarist for Earnest Drive, plays through the entire song, breaking down the lead guitar parts in detail! __ Tonight's track is the opening theme from Ressha Sentai ToQger, by Daiki Ise! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpeSSoXHWjk This song is pure major key goodness. I love the chorus, and can't help but cheer "GO GO GO GO GO" over and over again.
