Blueberry already said that about a page ago, Walan. -

I never thought of Ecco homages to be honest but now that you mention it, yeah, it does seem to be similar in feel to that kind of ambient feel the Ecco musics had. Not quite there for a request, but you just earned yourself a cookie ^_~ -
OCRA-0008 - Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Project Chaos

I understand the strain it can get to re-hosting everything all over again. Still I'm glad it'll get corrected (again?) down the line if not already. Thank you. oh and... Indeed you got that right, but there's still more. From the top of my head there's about five or six other minor references fit in there. Should I say that the first person to find about four of these gets a remix request? -

For what could have been the nineth-twelfth time, my competition menu track is supposed to be labelled as Schumacher's Bar. Why do people forget the apostrophe and shizzle? Either way, I'm glad it managed to come through. I heard some tracks by preview weeks ago, and went for Dan B's and GameBoX's stuff first on release. Tonight, I will hear the full thing and I will love you so much for working so hard on making this baby shine -
I didn't even read that X.x but yeah, thanks for the heads up. I'm just about to post the track. Sorry if I waste two hours of your downloading time on something that you could have been doing proactively (!)
-
Eh, I'll probably make them more public once I either get more of the foundations down, or I start getting desperate to find a guitarist. But I appreciate the support. [EDIT: On second thought, Frank's not here. Let me sign up on your message boards, greasemonkeys.]

I have a WIP, dood! </prinny> If I catch you on MSN I'll present it to you.

I remember someone who covered the mix and had it on OCR, but had it taken down in one of the earliest lockdowns for being a rip of the source tune. Still yes, Labyrinth needs some love. I initially wanted to waltzify this song for one of the DoD Free Months, but that idea seems to keep falling through. I still hope to tackle it someday

Milky Way Wishes: A Kirby Super Star Tribute - History
Rexy replied to Arek the Absolute's topic in Projects
The music side should be fine as far as I'm concerned. It's just that they've been having problems with artists more than anything. Now I won't be surprised if Summoning of Spirits gets pushed in here too >.> -
I'm still waiting on feedback of my own track. It's been a month and nothing is going on. No offence, but are you purposely trying to cut me out of the picture?
-
Fixed. I thought he covered Wing Cap? Still yeah, as my post was trying to say, it's just really tough making a mix out of something so short, so judging by what we've seen in prior coverage, if anyone wants to make the songs justice they must have some really, REALLY good compositional skills. I'm sorry if any of my posts in here came off of snobbish
-
It's short tracks that worry me when going for coverage, hence why I'd rather let people choose stuff on Children of Erdrick. Still, does anyone remember Sonniku Ganbatte from Hedgehog Heaven? That's an example *not* to do it.
-
I'm more concerned about Canvas Curse being pretty easy; that was the only downpoint when deciding on my second game for the system from last Easter (which ended up being Animal Crossing: Wild World). Also, may I need to stress that if anyone needs a good platformer fetish, Sonic Rush is a high recommendation; makes good balance of the DS features (except it doesn't use the microphone ) and has good challenge to boot, especially when it comes to getting A rankings on every level. I know that it can actually get a little OTT for your "girl" in question, but you may never know what she could consider
-
I know it might be good, but that doesn't stop the fact that I can't play this type of game to save my life. In fact, I can't play sports sims at all unless it's with cars.
-
Well, yeah, I should have figured there would be some people who would take interest. Anyway... I mean, sure, I can see the argument for seeing how the Tony Hawk's engine was used on the DS and created into an extensive title, but the fact remains that it's something that we've seen before on prior consoles, and we also figure that the context of skateboarding can only seem to appeal to a limited set of gamer types. That's what seems to worry me most; not how much it pushes itself to have fun or whatever. To most gamer types, it could just look like something created solely for the MTV generation.
-
I wasn't referring to that. I was referring to Rexy's post about the new Crash game. Context. No offence to Kak, but Phth's quotation could apply to both situations if you look at it this way.
-
Gee, that's why we shouldn't trust IGN. Mind, as long as I'm here, did anyone find their review for Crash Boom Bang to be a little harsh? I mean, I am fully aware that it's going to be a heavily awkward game to go through, but everyone else seems to be giving it mainly 4s according to GameRankings. Surely, the people at IGN are denying the thought that it can't be worse than Bomberman: Act Zero.
-
It's too early for me to figure out a style on mine yet, but once I'm done with the main bulk I would love to hook this up with a guitarist in the scene. That doesn't mean it'll be pure rock; it's just to give it that little bit more of an edge, if you know what I mean. Spunodi, I doubt that anti-groove bias would be a thing to worry about at ThaSauce. I think you picked a pretty obscure Sonic game (at least in my point of view; never touched a Sega CD in my life) so that could mean why there weren't quite so many responses and whatnot.
-
Oyeah, I forgot about the whole Magus thing. That actually makes *exactly* 2/3 of the remixers. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see it arriving in GenDisc. Surely we'll see some good personnel come into all this too. And now, back to work
-
...actually you're right When waiting to appeal for Children of Erdrick to reach General Discussion, the initial decision was 75% of tracks to be filled in, not 66% as was revised soon after. I'm sorry if I was a little slow. Anyway, I'm not sure if it is 2.07; 17 spots taken divided by 26 available places = 0.65 to two decimal places; multiplied by 3, you would get 1.96/3, so we're not quite 2/3s of the way yet, but I'm sure that Darkesword won't mind as long as you know where to look to get that last push if he thinks it's still not quite ready.
-
I think he's on the East Coast. But the reason why I said wait until 20 tracks are taken is because of the project rule of having 75% of your remixes allocated to musicians before you consider making the move to GD. I know that it sounds problematic to get through, but this is what promotion is for; go on and bug people around the forums about it

PS4 orchestral project discussion (on hold for awhile)
Rexy replied to Claado Shou's topic in ReMix Requests
It's alright, but to some of us, it'll sound like either an indirect Chrono Symphonic sequel, or something in an entire suite of symphonic suites (which if that is the case you need to press on and do some more ). I think the only idea that came into mind for me is "Fantasia Star", though odds are people would think of better >.> -
I wasn't talking about what it got in return, Kyle. All I was saying was that their home bases were particularly different. Bound Together had a different base as it was already, having centered itself around VGMix/OneUpStudios for most of the time, so why do we have people who think of comparing an almost complete OCR project to something that's pretty much entirely different? Nonetheless, I might as well shut up
-
I know that people would even seem skeptical over this, and I definitely said this a few months back, but if you want a hand or two, I'll be happy to contribute. Often times I'm very open minded over various source tunes whether they're left aside or not, and on top of that I feel that whatever task I've been given, I can be able to manage it. Plus, two spots at OCR already wouldn't hurt Either way, most of your personnel sounds good to hear. I am pretty sure that something really promising would come out of all this, and I'm sure you've got the bones to pull it off. Keep it going
-
Bound Together doesn't count. I know some people would like it, but at the end of the day it's not an official project. Anyway, yes... lemme at those previews
