Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Project Chaos - History

Coldfusion.. bad choice. While it makes your life easier to some extent(if you have the right tools) coldfusion servers are rare, and expensive as fuck, even more expensive than asp.net servers in most cases. Should have gone the php route, cheap, easy and gets the job done.(I'm more of an asp-.net person but I like Php more for non corporative stuff) If you need help with Php, you can contact me via msn, and maybe can give you a hand. -
OCR00686 - Super Mario Kart "Trippin' on Rainbows"
Sir_NutS replied to Ginnsu's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
I was downloading some remixes I've lost in hard drive crashes and stuff and rembered this remix. It's one of my all time favorites and while I must agree that this isn't the most accessible remix from mazedude, I got right into it from the first listen, and I have no Idea why I haven't recommended this yet . So, RECOMMENDED. The dynamics are always fun and they will catch you off-guard in the first listen, but I bet they will leave you with a smile. -

well if you don't mind having a non-rock tune for the second act, I could give it a try. But if you really want it to be a rock tune well, there are more remixers out there I guess. Good luck with that, and sorry to hear the bad news about sixto.

OCR01441 - Final Fantasy X "White Skies (Club Mix)"
Sir_NutS replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This review was long overdue but now I reviewed it at vgmix, so I'll just copy that review over here (with a few changes): This Remix, Ladies and Gentlemen, represents the Highest point when it comes to Trance Videogame remixes, and demonstrates once again who is the person to follow when it comes to this genre. Jesuschrist, just when I think I'm about to reach him, he comes up with stuff like this and blows everybody out of the water. This mix represents a truly progressive trance song. Not something you would hear from a low class DJ, but something worth of one of those big name producers. Fuck, this sounds better than a lot of professional stuff out there. The production values are ridiculously high. When bLiNd sent me this song some time ago before it got posted at OCRemix, I was totally amazed by how much better his music has become(yes, his music actually CAN get better than before). I can't find a single thing wrong with this song, not one. And I become a nitpicky bastard when reviewing trance but with something like this, all I can do is congratulate Jordan on an amazing work. I would go with an in-depth review like I always do, reviewing each section of the remix in detail, but man, I would spent 3 pages of praise that no one would read. The drums are excelent. The bass drum is specially pumping and freaking hits me with a kick that bruce lee would be proud of. The bass has a good low and the pad work is totally outstanding. I specially like the chords that have an organic feel to them and you can't really tell what the fuck is going on because they blend with the pads so well that all you can do is enjoy the ride and forget about everything else. The break before the main melody is really great and emotional, I totally love that gated synth that sounds like a sawwave/chorus that sets the mood so well for what comes at 03:13: TOTAL TRANCE MAYHEM! This synth is awesome. fits extremely well with the anthem lead you got going on, and when you put that with the amazing ambience and the soft lead/pad going on at the same time with the pumping drums, its total trance nirvana. The build down is very well done as well and leaves nothing to be desired. CONCLUSION: absolutely amazing. bLiNd, If this was your plan for a comeback then it couldn't have been better. This song is absolutely the best Trance Remix to date and I encourage everyone to grab it. Good to see you producing music for us again, and most of all, getting better at it. -
sure thing. get your ass up on msn. Well people, I'm practically done with Martel's theme. Those who wanna check it out can go to the Private WIP boards of the project and grab the Pre-Final Demo. Hopefully I'll give the Final version of Biting Cold to Kyle very soon as well.
-
I started working on Martel's theme, and I think I can do something decent with it. I'll keep you guys updated. Let's all work to get this thing finished on date.

I was one of the first(if not the first) to finish my song. I haven't uploaded the mastered, clean version, but now that i have reason 3 I've learned a new mastering tricks that will come in handy, so this song will get another revision now. This project will rock

OCR01389 - Ecco: The Tides of Time (GG) "Fury of Medusa"
Sir_NutS replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
We need more boom shick indeed, and sadorf has delivered. I've seen him work on this song since the first version that got posted here, and it really surprised me that he could take the same song, and re-remix it in a totally different way. This remix is catchy, fun, and sounds tight. I know how much sadorf worked on this to make it sound professional and all the work paid off at the end, Nice work. -

I like the idea of different version of the same theme incorporated in different songs but... I don't know If I'll be able to do it, I'm not that good to take any song and do a good remix of it. But we'll see. -
Exactly. Actually, I've already been thinking of potential replacements JUST IN CASE, so if someone needs to drop out, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. But why would you drop out now, PriZ? You've been rocking faces off. Since my song went so well(IMHO) and although I now added the real piano and still need to do some really minor adjustments, you can count me in for replacement.

Well, dang. I didn't realize you had a hurricane go through there. Of course, I was just being sarcastic about "needing" your song right now; I just want to hear it. Take your time! hehe nah I didn't get through it, it just passed close. But caused several blackouts and after restarting my pc twice I decided to go to bed and finish that later. The sun in shining brightly today.

yeah sorry about that Kyle, again, I couldn't upload it yesterday because as you can see Here Hurricane Dennis Passed really close to my country yesterday, causing lotsa rain, wind and thunderstorms, which in turn caused several blackouts impeding me from using my pc to finish the song. Don't worry, the song is almost finished. I spoke with Luiza and she might provide the final touches I want for it.
