Some time ago I was working on a mini-album composed of remixes of an upcoming Doom mod by The Orichalcon. Due to some Issues I won't finish it but I'm releasing the songs I did anyways. Some of them were made for ORC(Original Remix Competition) but some others I had not released them before. Barren Souls Photophobic El Infierno del Orichalcon Time Ends Now Work Words The comments on these songs can be found at my website www.sirnuts.com but to sum it all up, I tried to make something doom-sounding, but with emphasis on the drumwork and the ambience. Some of it is groovy, some funky, some a bit scary, some hollow sounding. Anyways, if you like it or hate it, feedback is welcomed. Have in mind though that these songs are pretty old now and some weren't refined as they should. I have uploaded a lot of other stuff too, like this trippy mix and some stuff that I've never released outside of my friends(more than 10 new songs). Also updated the website which was in need of it. Anyways, there you go, comments on this or any other new song are welcomed. Hope you enjoy it.

I actually can understand why all the delays virt, there was basically a complete redesign and making all that brainstorming possible and correctly implementing the structure of that database is not easy task, let alone programming the front end. As I said, I'm eagerly waiting the release of the new vgmix, even if it's still months from now. The new additions are things that vgmix 2 needed to get rid of the mess and have a good review per song ratio.

That's the problem with most people that are glad to see unmod gone. But I've talked enough about the unmod deletion topic. Bring on offtop, if it fails, well, we'll always have that thing we rarely use but that could come in handy in cases like this, it's called "Real Life"

One of the reasons I'll miss unmod was the epic story. Hope you can still keep it working (so I can submit yet another shitty story!)

yay for more drama. I'd say, I've been coming here before the orange ocr days, for both the music and the forums, and I've come to dislike more and more this place. I can see why darke resigned and why smoke almost did though. It's sad, they're of the few people that do a good work and are close to the little community sense that is left here. Anyways good luck with the offtop thing, All that is left for me here are the compos like PRC, and that only happens twice a month so that isn't much. Also, LOL @ the unmod deletion pictures, hadn't seen those before. If that's not fueling up the fire by offending the few good unmodders, I don't know what is.

The allowed timespan between submissions is roughly two weeks so I don't think there would be a problem.

I agree in that Offtopic should be sort of like unmod - useless stuff (fad threads and the like) since most of the great unmod threads were far better than anything else that you would find in the entire forums. But the announcement by djp makes it sound as just another moderated gendisc, where the topics are off-topic from the ones in gendisc.(which is stupid imo, since the topics on gendisc are mostly offtopic from the site's purpose, that is, remixes. But oh well)

Chances are that the song will be judged after PRC is over, so you can submit it now I think. Anyways Rexy is now on command of PRC so I don't know what she thinks but as far as I'm concerned you can submit your mix now since it won't get judged anytime soon.

Amen, Mr Coop. EDIT: I wish that, although Unmod is gone I still get to see those kickass sigs of yours once in a while around here.
