  1. Binjovi or Binjovist. This is actually the reason I changed my handle from Bean (I don't use that name anywhere else anymore). Binjovist pops up with more entries that are actually me than Binjovi does, but I suppose that makes sense.
  2. I'm not opposed to her being raised by Chozo, but I never much cared for the whole infused-with-Chozo-DNA thing. I guess it kind of detracts from the character and the technology of the suit for me. I, personally, would rather it not be made into a movie. There's far too much that could go wrong for me to even have a glimmer of hope for the final product. But what would be cool would be an animated series like Samurai Jack, or Clone Wars. Little to no dialogue, short episodes (missions) full of awesome action, crazy monsters and stunning alien landscapes. A sleek visual style to boot.
  3. Not well, it would seem. The forums have been down for a couple weeks now.
  4. Roger. I'll probably start working on some stuff tonight/this morning.
  5. About how many different images are we talking about? I've been in a drawing mood lately, and OCR-Tans are always fun to draw.
  6. Not until I'm finished with it, no.
  7. DOUBLE POAST!!!!! UH-OH! IT'S SWIMSUITS!
  8. I'm counting the same amount on both covers.
  9. I'm interested, but I really don't know what my schedule will look like even a week from now. I also don't know if my rickety old car will make it very far anymore. What kinds of stuff would we be doing anyway?
  10. I'm in Wentzville. Kinda the middle of Missouri.
  11. Aw, shucks, guys. Thanks. Har har har. I appreciate it though.
  12. Thanks, buddy! Happy late birthday to you too.

  13. Not really, but I think I'm going to leave it as a summer release. Anything else just doesn't feel right to me. At the moment I'm pretty busy with some other stuff. As soon as I get it finished, I can start working on more OCR-Tan artwork. I do have tons of OCR-Tan sketches that I've done over the years, so if I can find them, I guess I can scan 'em and put them into a collage or something if people are interested. Nothing fancy, but it's something. Oh, and here's something I've been working on for someone recently:
  14. Wait... how was my artwork REJECTED?! It's not like it's a copyrighted character or anything. If they need my approval, it's YES YES YES! I would be honored to have my work featured on someone's stuff. In fact, I've got the PSD. Give me the size requirements and I'll fix it up proper!
  15. I don't have a PSP. But I'm hoping to get one for my B-Day coming up pretty soon. Phantasy Star Portable is one of the games I'm wanting to buy. I've been playing PSU since it first came out. It's got a few problems, but I would say that, in most cases, it's a better game overall than PSO was. The PC/PS2 PSU community is unfortunately dwindling, and it'd be great to get some more players on there.
  16. Finally! Finally, someone other than me is doing some OCR-Tan work around here. I felt so lonely... That guitar is freakin' awesome! Great work there. However, OCR-Tan herself could use some work as mentioned. Oops... I guess I better update my sig soon.
  17. Sorry, but you're going to have to look on your own. It was a long time ago that I saw it, and I never actually used it myself. I don't think the battle system that I saw translated directly over from 2k3, but it did have animations very similar to 2k3's battlers. The one I remember used Laharl from Disgaea to demonstrate, I believe. You can also look around on youtube for some videos that demonstrate just what the scripting is capable of...Gradius Gravity Gradius, for example.
  18. RPG Maker is a great program when you don't want to get too in-depth with programming, or if it's just not your thing. However, it should be noted that you're still trying to make a game, and those take a lot of planning and effort if they're ever going to pan out. The problem with RPG Maker is actually it's selling point in some ways. It's so easy to start whipping up area maps and events, that you end up skipping the preliminary stages. The stages required to make a good game. Pretty soon, you realize what you have is a big mess, and you'd be better off starting from scratch. That's been my past experience anyway. But don't let that deter you from trying the program out. It really is pretty easy once you get into it, and a lot of fun too. If you're considering which RPG Maker to try out, I would recommend XP mainly because of the fact that tilesets have a limitless capacity. And sure, 2003 has a really cool default battle system, but all of those things and more can be achieved in XP through the use of scripting. There actually are some custom battle scripts that you can download if you don't want to go through the trouble. I tried VX, and I like the style (which you can achieve in XP anyway), but the setup felt more like 95 and that was sort of odd to me.
  19. Have a Nice Christmas, everyone!
  20. Fine, fine. Sheesh. Here.
  21. Sorry about the double-post, but this thread was on page 11. That, and I have some wintry OCR-Tan artwork to share. Merry Chistmas, you guys.
  22. I've decided to take a crack at it. I'll try and work on it a few minutes every night. This is what I've got at the moment: This is at 25%. The full image is 3,000 x 3,000 pixels. It's stupidly huge.
  23. My brother typically doesn't want to hear a remix from a game he's not familiar with. I always counter with, "But if it's good music, it's good music, right?" I think that the music itself can shine through no matter whether you're familiar with it or not. Why should it be any different than anything else you listen to? Is the fact that it's a remix make it so different from hearing a song on the radio for the first time? I'd like to think that's not the case.
  24. Well, I bought the 360 version, and the controls are fantastic. They're more like RE4 or Gears of War than an FPS and the game's not in first-person anyway, so I'm not sure what it'll play like on the PC. Also, these guys pull some pretty genius moves to freak you out. Awesome game so far.
  25. Here's the full concert. Mario and Zelda Big Band Full Concert. EXCELLENT stuff.
