  3. I'd say finish Loner and get it wrapped up with...if we don't get it done now I don't really see us getting to it, as we have many more FANTASTICAL ideas waiting to be put in motion.

  4. So we have a new console with screens in the controllers, with only to show off the hardware.Originality? This is Nintendo! Oh well, I'll still get to play a with Nintendo and Squeenix characters this time!
  5. ELEVATE and don't choke on the pixels from all these cakes or something
  6. Sigs have a 250px height limit, so it looks like you guys need to get rid of 30px or so (the one I looked at was 280 by 509 or something).
  7. What makes you think they'll stop even if the government did that?
  8. Super Mario Bros. 3: Licensed Music Edition more like it. But fantastic work as always Sam; definitely gonna be listening to the .nsf to pick up some chip techniques.
  9. I thought the token rapper (who LITERALLY repeats the song, like, verbatim) was bad enough, but no...not for these guys. Clearly we need to go viral with a video that everyone universally pans!
  10. Nope! GIMME DAT MONITOR 'SPLOSION! Also: yay more coverage! And yay more ProjectSpam!
  11. OLRmageddon Welcome to the OCR thread for OverLooked ReMiX's competition, OLRmageddon! In a nutshell, we are basically like Dwelling of Duels, except without the live instrument requirement and the addition of bonus points. Each month there is a theme, and if you choose to do the bonus, you can get extra points to help your mix become the winner! If you do win, you get to pick the theme and bonus for the next month, and your mix gets directly post to the OLR archive. More info about the rules and past contests can be found in this thread: http://olremix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6603 (any questions you have can be directed to me). Since nobody likes Batman (or, at least the music that represents him), Tarrasque has given us our theme for this month, which is Non-Famous Composers! He wrote up this long list of people who don't qualify, so it basically boils down to indie games and obscure titles. Of course, there are games like Ducktales which are eligible, since nobody is sure who did the music! But I digress. The bonus is the Wilhelm Scream! Use it in your mix for those juicy +2 points. AND, there's an XO's Challenge this month! If you make a Nico Nico Douga style remix using only the Wilhelm Scream as a sound, you'll get +4 bonus points, extra voting points (amount to be determined from number of entries), and a custom forum title (obviously at OLR, not here)! More info can be found in the thread at OLR. The current thread at OLR can be found here: http://olremix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9678 The OLRmageddon website: http://sites.google.com/site/xenonodyssey/olrmageddon Come join us for some shenanigans!
  12. HAHA, totally changing all of the album art to that pic!
  13. Yo dude, you still want sax for your BT&DD mix? I'm finally done school so I've plenty of time to lay some licks down. Also I think your thread got purged from the active ones; I had to find it in the archive: http://ocremix.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-32840.html

  14. oops i seemed to have dropped my eight dollars into this 'insert your payment' box
  15. I got your PM mr. metal; unfortunately I didn't get to it before you posted this. My only suggestion echoes what Mokram said about the tracklist: focus on the first two, rather than try and cover too many games at once. It's possible there many not be as many gems in the first two than if you combined all the soundtracks, but at least that way you aren't limiting yourself to only seven tracks per game when there certainly has to be more tracks people would want to remix. Also, it would benefit the any-style-you-want aspect if it was an entire soundtrack rather than a 'best of' collection. Usually with those there are restrictions like only orchestral or something similar, since the collection is looking to highlight certain tracks that stand out under those arrangement specifics. A whole soundtrack, imo, works better with any-style-you-want because it'll allow the remixers to show off how versatile the soundtrack can be, while letting them be creative in whichever genre they choose. Plus, if this album goes all the way to the homepage (assuming you want it to be OCR-official), there will probably be desire to finish the series (I mean, we already have FF7 and 4 with 9 almost done, and we did just finish the Sonic trilogy), which means having more of the soundtrack done rather than just the 35 tracks you have here (I know you said it could change, but 35 < however many tracks there are in the Breath of Fire series total). BUT, that's just my 2¢; you may certainly think otherwise and that's perfectly ok. I'll look through the soundtrack later and see if I dig anything.
  16. I couldn't get the conversion right so you get £4.25! GOOD SHTUFF, MAKE THEM LONGER NEXT TIME kthnx
  17. So where can I buy a bulk amount of bleach so I can cover myself and all of my belongings? The word 'nullification' will never be the same for me I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY PR
  18. Shit, time to flood the queue; let the hatred take its roots before it spreads to the entire body and they become true shtyjdgfgts! oh and congrats
  19. via Joystiq: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/11/grammy-awards-to-formally-recognize-video-game-music-for-sever/ Now all we have to do is shed the 'video games are for children' stigma!
  20. like mistah briggs said, it all comes down to how asinine the goals are of reaching 100%, along with how long my interest stays with the game although time is a factor too; if I know I have nothing else to do but sink an abnormal amount of time into a game, I'll probably go for 100%. case in point: first time I beat Wind Waker, I don't think I got any figurines. played it a summer or so ago, and I had the patience to get the Link & the King of Red Lions figurine.
  21. Super excited for Up, Up, Down, Down Lower and TITillating Tunes, although I'm not sure if it's for the music or the album art...
