Hmm it's okay. Sounds like Star is trying to imitate Ludacris, but it comes across like he just lowered the speed on his rap once he had finished recording it. The beat sounds nice, but overall, not as good as Niggaz 4 Life and Unknown from MC.

This song requires more attention. Excellent arrangement of various Mario songs, in a classical Italian style that, all stereotypes withheld, had me envisioning Mario in Don Corleone's chair the entire time. A must have. Creative and original.

(Thanks to Gray for telling me it was finally up. I've been waiting for this for a while) A drastic departure from Mr. Lightning's usual style of mixing, Armageddon perhaps the best mix he has created to date. I have listened in on his WIPS recently and noticed his style grow more towards film score orchestral, and if this mix is any indicator of whats to come, then...well, it's a hell of an indicator. Gray has taken this theme and turned it into a dark, evil barrage of terror that builds up to an almost orgasmic peak. His use of Voices of the Apocalypse, as well as his pounding precussion elevate this mix to a professional level; this is the good stuff. DJP was right; you could dub this over Howard Shore's score to LOTR, during the Orc scenes, and it would fit perfectly. Gray's use of precussion has improved vastly over his previous mix. I really can't find ANYTHING wrong with this. Highly recommended. Excellent work! Edit: embarrassing edit.

Yet another excellent mix from Neskarvartten. Their style continues to impress me. If you love jazz, this is a mix for you. I look forward to more direct posts from them *hint hint*.

For the most part, the song has gotten praise, which is never bad. Personally, I was pretty surprised the song turned out the way it did, seeing as how I had *no* clue what the fuck i was doing while making that mix. Zero. Very nice. I felt a bit of out of tune weirdness at one point at the beginning, but I guess it was just my ears and not that big of a deal anyways... when the pan flute first plays its notes (before it gets into its main part) it seemed a bit dissonant to me...oh well. Impressive mix. I love the pan flute. And, I love the pan flute. Very nice arrangement. Live? Who cares about EQ and recording quality. This sounds like its being played live at a jazz club and I'm enjoying every second of it. Good stuff here, Zoltan!

As usual, aluminum delivers the New Age goods. While his mixes aren't as prominent on Overclocked as GrayLightning's, for example, he has shown on numerous occasions that he knows how to craft an excellent New Age mix with great ambience and replayability. I strongly recommend that people check out his Trigun Remix on Anime Remix for another example of his proficiency at his craft. Specific points in this remix that I enjoy include: -The delayed notes at :18 followed by the strings. Beautiful. - 1:09 - Great buildup to the main melody.... - The main flute. I love its wetness... - Just about the entire middle section - The reversed notes that come in at 3:30ish. Wonderful. Highly recommend this. Nice work, aluminum !
