You're probably right about that. They showed "The Boiling Rock" as a 1 hour event on Tuesday, even though it's a 40 minute two part episode. Anyway, I don't think this movie was directed by Shyamalon. I heard he wanted to do a live action movie. Anyway, time for watching. It's starting just as I'm typing this!

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else out there likes this series. They're airing a two hour long movie event tonight on Nick, and all this week, they've been showing premiere episodes leading up to it. At first when I started watching this, I thought it was just a lame attempt of Nickelodeon to get in on the anime wannabe scene. But once I got into it, I really found an appreciation for the characters, the world, and the story. I think it has great action which is definitely a crowd pleaser, a great storyline which is very captivating, and even some comedic fluff which is *gasp* actually funny! So if anyone hasn't been up to date, I might recommend looking at some episode overviews of the past week, and the movie tonight which is on Nickelodeon at 8:00 Eastern time. It's called "Sozin's Comet" I believe...Need I say more?

There are a lot of Brinstar mixes already from what I understand. For the sake of diversity, I might suggest something else. (from reading the thread anyway) It seems there is need for more Crateria, Meridia, Tourian, Boss fights, Intro, Wrecked Ship...I could be wrong, but from what I could tell, those were not seen in the thread.

I had another idea really really late last night which I had to get down... it's a short mix of the item room and item fanfare. The mix is named Redemption.

Name a track or two which is undermixed? If diversity is needed, then let it be so.

I've made a couple of minor changes (fixes) to the previous version. If anyone has any comments or suggestions on how to make this more enjoyable, please do let me know. I finished and submitted an early version because I wasn't sure if I would have much time before Saturday to continue working on it. (Just so you know, I realize it's basically a cover. That's what I was planning on doing)

Tried the intro theme...didn't like how it turned out I think I'll try something else... I was thinking of doing Brinstar 1, because that's my favorite track in the game. I just hope there aren't like 10 mixes of it already.

Personal taste and opinion isn't a factor in the judging process last time I checked...oh wait... anyway, this post comes off sounding to me like a cheap way to bash a track without offering any decent advice or criticism.

It's like something hit me, on this last mini vacation I just came back from. I had a revelation that I seriously need to get in shape, so lately I've been doing crunches and pushups (kind of sporatically but I hope to get into a habit soon) as well as an aerobic routine (by which I mean play DDR failoff on my highest skill level for about a half hour or so) I'm hoping to flatten out my chest and abs; maybe more than that if possible.

True about the drums. That's always the part I hate working on most, because to be honest, I don't have a very good sense of writing percussive elements.

I just had a brainstorm. Not sure if I'm going to do this yet, but I'm thinking of writing lyrics to this and singing them as Zero. Talking about his life story etc. Only problem is I suck at writing lyrics (and singing). Anyway, I guess this is just a self-reminder for the time being. I might ask around at some point for help writing lyrics if I cant seem to come up with any on my own, though for now I think I'd like to give it a shot.

I Loved my chain lightning sorceress. That was by far my favorite class to create. With the 1.1 patch, my build was lightning as main damage spec, with some in frost for enemies immune to lightning. I always carried around a staff of lower resistance too, because 9 times out of 10 that would remove immunity. All this stacked with a Memory runeword weapon on a Normal/Hell combat mercenary for super high mana regen and good HP regen was a very viable build. (the mana regen aura would get the life regeneration, so when the mercenary activated his aura, it would be double life regen)

I always liked my zealot paladin more than hammers. I tried a hammer paladin. It was good for farming, but other than that, I found it a little too easy and preferred zeal / vengeance build with a desert Might (aura) mercenary.

I see no reason to upgrade(?) to Vista, because XP was the first Microsoft OS that I'm actually happy with. I've had numerous problems with 98 and had to reformat almost twice a year because of it. I've never used 2000, I went straight form 98 to XP...it's been great since.

I personally love what they did with Unique Monsters, making the battles feel more like boss fights. Even though some of those monsters may not be a huge threat, they're treated as a boss instead of a monster who dies in 5 hits instead of 2.

On the front page at www.blizzard.com is a short flash teaser announcing the upcoming sequel to the epic Heaven vs Hell series. This is looking very promising so far!

The style, for me, was inspired partially by the music of Dralion and Alegria, whether or not it sounds like anything from either show. One thing I'm concerned with right now is the first lead, which is very subject to change, as I'm not completely satisfied with it. This is also far from finished in several ways, but it's come a decent ways so far. Hope you like it!

Though I'm not sure yet if Ill be able to make it, depending on my moving situation. If I can, I'll most likely be there, and this is a great opportunity for the meetup to do something fun and awesome.
