  1. ya rly If they were to make a real Zelda movie, though I would refuse to see it unless Ganondorf was played by either Jack Nicholson, Hugo Weaving, or Clint Eastwood.
  2. Wow. This is up there as one of my favorite posts ever.
  3. Oh man, if I got a dollar for every girl I've picked up by saying I was an OCRemixer. Too bad their names all end in .jpg. Anyway, appreciation appreciated. Thanks
  4. What you need is some manner of cabinet emulation. Sixto has some good tips on this: http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=14222
  5. The facial comparison you posted in the other thread used a shitty picture. Here you get a much clearer view, and aside from the gray heir and lighter skin (which could easily be a result of makeup -- and yes, even guy actors wear a fuckton of makeup when they're on camera), the similarities are much more evident. I'd like to see another facial comparison. If another facial comparison between this guy and the NWG finds that they aren't the same guy, I'll drop this theory once and for all.
  6. Check the page you just linked. It doesn't have the full cast.
  7. Yes. But I won the internet, so it's ok. EDIT: Besides, I still don't know his name; the video won't load all the way through for me, so I can't watch the credits and find out.
  8. GOT IT http://media.mesa.gmu.edu/mcl/42_Destinos.wmv 34 seconds in. That's him.
  9. I can't find pics; I'm POSITIVE he's the actor who plays Luis in "Destinos: Introduction to Spanish," but I can't find the actors name or any good pics of him.
  10. SECOND DEADLINE SET AT AUGUST 10 For this deadline, we're looking for mostly-completed tracks. The arrangement should be finished, and the production should be well on its way there. We're looking for something that is complete aside from the final tweaks and mastering. Those who have already sent me finished tracks are, of course, exempt.
  11. Ok, my intertubes have been unclogged, and I'm ready to recieve WIPs and auditions again.
  12. I'm having some internet troubles, so until further notice, all audition tracks and WIPs should be sent to Bahamut. If you send them to me, it may be awhile before I get them.
  13. Ok, so I just got EastWest's Gypsy library, and I installed it today. Realized partway through that I was installing the library to the wrong folder (actually, to the wrong hard drive), so I cancelled, uninstalled what I had installed thus far, and restarted the computer, with the intention of restarting the installation once it finished booting up. Now, I should mention that when I uninstalled the partially-installed library, my internet connection died. I figured it was no biggie; my connection is sort of wierd, and my connection goes off and on all the time. Usually I just have to reset the router or the cable modem. However, once it booted up, I got a popup saying that windows had detected new hardware, some manner of ethernet device (my computer is connected to my house's router by ethernet cable, not by wireless connection). I sure as shit hadn't installed any new hardware, so I cancelled out of the popup. Finished installing gypsy, then before restarting my computer to complete the installation, I reset the router and modem, and tried my internet connection. No dice. Couldn't seem to connect. Restarted my computer, still no signs of any manner of connection to the router or modem, and I got the same popup prompting me to install drivers for my supposedly-new ethernet hardware. I tried installing, but it couldn't find the necessary files, and prompted me to enter a CD to install them from (which I don't have). I guess it's entirely possible that my internets breaking and my installing/uninstalling/reinstalling gypsy are completely unrelated, but the timing is quite suspicious. Anybody else had anything like this happen? More to the point, does anybody have any idea what the problem might be, or how to fix it? (and to top it off, I can't get gypsy to work, but I'll worry about that later)
  14. I'm going by the track titles in the .rsn from snesmusic.org. I'm pretty sure Kannon's Klaim is the name of the level.
  15. I have a bare-bones WIP, Jose. I'll send it your way once I get a bit more done on it and have a better idea of what I want you to do.
  16. Wait, what? Are you talking about running from your amp's line out to your preamp/audio interface? In almost all cases, that produces crappy results unless you use some manner of cabinet emulation somewhere along the line. (sixto can probably explain this a lot better than I can) It would most likely be better to just run the signal from your guitar straight into the preamp, and then use VST amp modelers.
  17. God, how did I know it would have Saria's song? That's the most overrated track since the FF7 main theme.
  18. SO CUTE! <3 Awesome, congrats COTMM!
  19. Standalone tracks. And those who are on the project will be able to hear any WIPs that get posted on the project forum. Several people have just sent their stuff straight to me, though, so you still won't hear everything.
