  1. Got everything fixed. And Gypsy is awesome.
  2. Ok, my intertubes have been unclogged, and I'm ready to recieve WIPs and auditions again.
  3. I'm having some internet troubles, so until further notice, all audition tracks and WIPs should be sent to Bahamut. If you send them to me, it may be awhile before I get them.
  4. Ok, so I just got EastWest's Gypsy library, and I installed it today. Realized partway through that I was installing the library to the wrong folder (actually, to the wrong hard drive), so I cancelled, uninstalled what I had installed thus far, and restarted the computer, with the intention of restarting the installation once it finished booting up. Now, I should mention that when I uninstalled the partially-installed library, my internet connection died. I figured it was no biggie; my connection is sort of wierd, and my connection goes off and on all the time. Usually I just have to reset the router or the cable modem. However, once it booted up, I got a popup saying that windows had detected new hardware, some manner of ethernet device (my computer is connected to my house's router by ethernet cable, not by wireless connection). I sure as shit hadn't installed any new hardware, so I cancelled out of the popup. Finished installing gypsy, then before restarting my computer to complete the installation, I reset the router and modem, and tried my internet connection. No dice. Couldn't seem to connect. Restarted my computer, still no signs of any manner of connection to the router or modem, and I got the same popup prompting me to install drivers for my supposedly-new ethernet hardware. I tried installing, but it couldn't find the necessary files, and prompted me to enter a CD to install them from (which I don't have). I guess it's entirely possible that my internets breaking and my installing/uninstalling/reinstalling gypsy are completely unrelated, but the timing is quite suspicious. Anybody else had anything like this happen? More to the point, does anybody have any idea what the problem might be, or how to fix it? (and to top it off, I can't get gypsy to work, but I'll worry about that later)
  5. I'm going by the track titles in the .rsn from snesmusic.org. I'm pretty sure Kannon's Klaim is the name of the level.
  6. I have a bare-bones WIP, Jose. I'll send it your way once I get a bit more done on it and have a better idea of what I want you to do.
  7. Wait, what? Are you talking about running from your amp's line out to your preamp/audio interface? In almost all cases, that produces crappy results unless you use some manner of cabinet emulation somewhere along the line. (sixto can probably explain this a lot better than I can) It would most likely be better to just run the signal from your guitar straight into the preamp, and then use VST amp modelers.
  8. God, how did I know it would have Saria's song? That's the most overrated track since the FF7 main theme.
  9. SO CUTE! <3 Awesome, congrats COTMM!
  10. Erm... no, Steel Drum Rumba is the file select screen.
  11. Standalone tracks. And those who are on the project will be able to hear any WIPs that get posted on the project forum. Several people have just sent their stuff straight to me, though, so you still won't hear everything.
  12. Can I get P01? EDIT: Actually, I guess I should first ask: how would I go about getting match footage to you? I mean, how do I get it to my computer?
  13. Erm... I was thinking it should be in there under another name, but I guess I left it out entirely. I'll add Klubba's Reveille to the list now.
  14. CLARIFICATION ABOUT HOW TO AUDITION: If you want to audition/claim a track, please send me or bahamut a WIP of the track you want to claim. If we like it, we'll give you the claim.
  15. I use and reccomend Carvin's Cobalt Acoustics. Probably the highest bang-to-buck ratio of any acoustics I've played. www.carvin.com
  16. First due date, for those I invited to get first dibs on the project, was yesterday. Next due date hasn't been decided yet. I'm about to leave, but I'll take a look when I get back home. No limitations. You just have to send me a WIP that I like.

Some tracks have different titles in the zophar.net version. ----------------------------------- ORIGINAL POST: So, Bahamut and I are running a DKC2 project. A few months ago, we invited a number of remixers to participate, giving our favorite remixers first dibs. Yes, we're elitist twits. Deal with it. (though admittedly there are probably a few people that should have been on the original list of invitees who we forgot. Sorry) ANYWAY, the first deadline was yesterday, and the project is now comming out of secrecy, and any unclaimed tracks are open. If you want to claim a track, send me a WIP, and if I like it, I'll give you the claim. CLARIFICATION ABOUT HOW TO AUDITION: If you want to claim a track, send me a WIP OF THE TRACK YOU WANT TO MIX. If I like it, and that track hasn't already been claimed (or if whoever claimed it missed the last deadline and hasn't sent me an update yet), the track is yours. Be forewarned: we're gonna be assholes about the due dates. If you miss a due date, your track is again open and goes to the first person to send me a WIP I like. If you miss a due date, but then manage to get me an updated WIP before somebody else does, you get your claim back, but if somebody else beats you to it, tough shit.

  20. I couldn't even tell what happenned.
  21. Which track would that be?
