  1. The OUS boards would be the place to ask.
  2. You know, I'm actually more excited about the music than anything else (ie todays Dojo update).
  3. rofl ten characters
  4. Get an auto-tuner and crank the frequency all the way up.
  5. I'm definitely glad you were a part of it -- your contributions to the lyrics were brilliant, and I think the roughness of your voice actually adds a lot to the piece, as does the cheesiness of Steve's rap breakdown.
  6. Oh my god. This mix is pure sex. And I don't mean mah-sex; I'm talking WHOAH-sex.
  7. Actually, a lot of the songs on the "to be posted" list have already been posted.
  8. That should be fine for my purposes. EDIT: another question, while I'm at it; is there any way to get an invisible hit counter? Like, so I can tell how many hits I've gotten without having one of those ugly counters visible to everybody who visits the site?
  9. Awesome! I'll definitely be keeping up with this blog.
  10. I'm looking to add musical demos to my website. I'd like to know if there's any way I can allow visitors to my website to listen to a song of mine without making it possible to save it to their HD. I'm thinking something like you might see on myspace, or other sites like that. How might I go about doing this?
  11. To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a single Popeye's in NC. But we do have Fridays, at least.
  12. It appears I need to log in.
  13. I've always considered the two to be synonymous.
  14. I dunno, I think OCR is pretty solidly within the geek shell. But at least you have company, right?
  15. I'll see what other offers I get and get back to you.
  16. There's a hork bajir kirby on the SA thread. Not as cool or as recognizable as the andalite one, though.
  17. Bass: acoustic would probably work best, though electric could work as well if it has a clean, light sound. Percussion: I'm looking for something like Riverdance, or perhaps some of Great Big Sea's songs; some slick bodhran work perhaps supplemented by hand percussion and maybe a traditional drumset as well.
  18. Yes, but since I'm the coolest Jeremy of them all, when somebody says "Jeremy" and doesn't specify which one, they're usually talking about me.
  19. Ok, bringing this one back up. Not for an update, but for a collab request. Usa isn't going to be able to do this one, so I need somebody who can help out with percussion and bass. I'm looking for festive irish acoustic percussion. If anybody's interested, let me know.
  20. Oshit! Another harmony mix! Anybody familiar with Harmony's past work will, of course, have very high expectations of this mix. And the mix certainly doesn't dissappoint. Awesome track. Now brandon, how the fuck did you do that at 0:39? Where the vox transforms into a synth and slides up? Awesome, seamless effect, and I have no idea how you did it.
  21. I don't even know where to start. Many of the people I count among my best friends are people I wouldn't have met if not through OCR. It has also hugely expanded my horizons as a listener, introducing me to many new styles and artists I wouldn't have otherwise listened to. It has vastly expanded my abilities as a musician and producer; I sucked when I got here, and every ounce of improvement I've made since then has been due to 1) My ongoing quest to make better remixes and 2) constant critique from members of the community. I have made a ton of potentially useful professional contacts. OCR has impacted my life in such a huge way that I cannot begin to imagine what my life would be like had it never existed. Three cheers for David Lloyd!
