  1. Actually, I liked the melee version of Gourmet Race much better than the brawl version.
  2. Eulogic, will you marry me? Also, holy balls King Dedede's theme is awesome. Dark World is quite meh... which sucks, because the original is such an awesome track.
  3. Holy fuck. AWESOME!
  4. Can we do something about this spammer? Fuckin' cockeater.
  5. I love the bass (square wave?) used for the synth. The sample is simple and some might say cheap, but it is used BRILLIANTLY here. Great writing on the bass line. I'd do something more with that lavos scream; it's sort of cheesy. I'd be curious to hear how it might sound with a bit of distortion. I love all the synths in this. They're all, like the bass, simple and not high-end, but brilliantly used. Production is nice; each element is clearly audible, and despite having a lot going on, it doesn't get muddy, and nothing gets lost in the mix.
  6. The OUS boards would be the place to ask.
  7. You know, I'm actually more excited about the music than anything else (ie todays Dojo update).
  8. rofl ten characters
  9. Get an auto-tuner and crank the frequency all the way up.
  10. I'm definitely glad you were a part of it -- your contributions to the lyrics were brilliant, and I think the roughness of your voice actually adds a lot to the piece, as does the cheesiness of Steve's rap breakdown.
  11. Oh my god. This mix is pure sex. And I don't mean mah-sex; I'm talking WHOAH-sex.
  12. Actually, a lot of the songs on the "to be posted" list have already been posted.
  13. That should be fine for my purposes. EDIT: another question, while I'm at it; is there any way to get an invisible hit counter? Like, so I can tell how many hits I've gotten without having one of those ugly counters visible to everybody who visits the site?
  14. Awesome! I'll definitely be keeping up with this blog.
  15. I'm looking to add musical demos to my website. I'd like to know if there's any way I can allow visitors to my website to listen to a song of mine without making it possible to save it to their HD. I'm thinking something like you might see on myspace, or other sites like that. How might I go about doing this?
  16. To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a single Popeye's in NC. But we do have Fridays, at least.
  17. It appears I need to log in.
  18. I've always considered the two to be synonymous.
  19. I dunno, I think OCR is pretty solidly within the geek shell. But at least you have company, right?
  20. I'll see what other offers I get and get back to you.
  21. There's a hork bajir kirby on the SA thread. Not as cool or as recognizable as the andalite one, though.
  22. Bass: acoustic would probably work best, though electric could work as well if it has a clean, light sound. Percussion: I'm looking for something like Riverdance, or perhaps some of Great Big Sea's songs; some slick bodhran work perhaps supplemented by hand percussion and maybe a traditional drumset as well.
  23. Yes, but since I'm the coolest Jeremy of them all, when somebody says "Jeremy" and doesn't specify which one, they're usually talking about me.
