  1. took 10 minutes to set up. impressions: interesting sounds, great assortment of few parameters to tweak for some fun results. not a bread and butter delay in any sense. but who needs another one of those anyway? seems more like a light FSU type plugin that's meant to be automated. the bad: amount of cpu use isn't really acceptable for a delay. dunno if i'll keep it, sure didn't appreciate cluttering up my system with that iLok license manager. but free is free and it's pretty good if you value sound over performance. random twiddling over a sine bloop: it's funny, i think chiptune people could get a kick out of using it. twiddling the multiplier thingy results in these arpy 8bit-ish sounds.
  2. burrrn u not part of da gang!! Edit: i highly disapprove of the apparent automatic anti-all-caps algorithm. It made my post lose at least 45% of its punch.
  3. You doin it wrong, gotta integrate tracks into absynth patches! I no wut im talking about i had a warezed absynth in 2004! Remember kids warezed absynth no gud. Makes u go blind and all self mutilatin and shit

  8. gonna wait for the episode where he burns down his whole studio and records it. lacking anything else to say, i love the dude's voice and pronunciation.
  9. hm i like the circular tab design creatively, but i'm not entirely positive i'd like it functionally it's nice that you took up the task of making these broadly themed types of cinematic libraries and making them affordable. not for me, but good luck with this!
  10. right on! let us venture forth and make awesome weird mixing decisions, guided by our spirit animal!
  11. This iz prety tite alrdy but coud use just a little mor RED Mayb open more mastering plugs on teh master then u can make it redder!
  12. Thanks txai. How u feel about 1:30-3:00? That's what made me feel excited about the tune, it's like the spirit of my older, more chaotic ways of making music came through to say hi.

  17. Happy Bday smelly man! Each year adds some flavor to the smell. Hmmmmm Flavolr
  18. This should yield some creative mixes. I can't imagine people having much fun just changing the sounds. Infinite ways to personalise this tune. I got a pretty good idea on what i might be doing with it.
  19. try it again meteo, this thing is the shit. i grabbed me a yoshi's island spc, 30 minutes later: Txai: i'll let you know if i find out how the vibrato works, because atm i don't know either. Found it! It's linked to the modwheel. You simply have to automate CC #1. open a midi out for each channel and link CC1 to a knob on there.
  20. http://picopicose.com/software.html Wasn't aware of this until now. An easy way to create authentic SNES music. Apparently it can load sounds from .spc files too! Awesome! Not on my DAW atm, but i'll test it later. Give it a whirl and see how it works!
  21. Definitely possible. But hell i wouldn't try myself, arranging somewhat complex stuff is such a pain on it. The few sounds it has are good enough for great sounding stuff, but either you get really good at live performing them or you fiddle around with edits in a slow and ineffective manner. The only real bottleneck is the drums. Too little in there. Anyway, decent start. Bring on the Smart Strings!
  22. They're great instruments, it's a good deal, and no one in the world really needs them all. Take your picks and learn to use those well. I'll never get komplete because the picking process takes away too much time from making music for me.
