I never submitted them. I felt the mixing quality was probably too low for OCRemix standards. I'm missing some of the assets so remastering them would be quite a bit of work and I have other things to work on.

I'd prefer 256kbps personally. Since all the tracks are really short anyway, it shouldn't be too bad on the bandwidth and download times.

KB? You mean KBmedia player? I can't remember if that one allows you to toggle channels or not. Chipamp works pretty well - http://www.chipamp.org/. It's got quite a few plug-ins that allow you to toggle channels. The NSF, VGM, and SPC ones do at least. I'm not sure about HES files - haven't tried it with them. There's another program you can use - but I forget the name of it. Will get back to you if I can remember it.

A lot of the chiptune players allow you to toggle each track on or off. This can help immensely as you can then isolate each track.

Well, a desktop is always going to be faster than a laptop of similar specs. Also you'll be able to buy a great destop machine at the same price of a decent laptop. So, unless you're planning on doing a lot of your music while traveling/on-the-road, then I'd recommend a desktop machine.

Hey zircon, what are the specs for the machine you're running Omnisphere on? Mine's on the borderline of the system requirements and it's not running as smoothly as I would like - I can pretty much only load one patch and then I'm forced to export to an audio track. Just curious how well it runs on your setup.

I installed my copy last night. Needless to say I'm very tired today I may have to break down and get a new machine in order to take full advantage of it though. Hmmmm...

A library for traditional Japanese instruments wouldn't be a bad idea actually. There aren't many libraries that fill that niche and I'm not aware of a single one that actually focuses on it. There's Chinee Kong, but they just do Chinese instruments.

Anybody who knows me will know that I'll be interested in this. I'm getting tired of my current sitar samples and have been hoping for something more extensive. It sounds great zircon!

It's a very well done game. The whole look and feel of it is terrific. Some of the puzzles are very clever too. It's actually inspiring me to make games again.

SPOILERS I'm pretty sure the Joker gave them the opposite addresses so whoever Batman cared about most would die. The beauty of it is, he wouldn't have to know which one it was beforehand - just switching the addresses would suffice.

If it doesn't have voice overs (which is what I'm guessing since it's NES), it'll be a blessing. Also, the fembot does bother me a little bit but it's mainly due to consistency. Anyway, I guess this new info means it's not coming out for PS3 and the 360, like the earlier rumors suggested?

Actually there are a few other small tunes from the game - mainly the escape/boss music. I have an arrangement that includes pretty much all the tunes with violins and Asian instruments. It'll be released on my next album.

I've released an arrangement of the Quatera Woods theme for Ys VI. I started it years ago but never really got around to finishing it until now. It's a fairly conservative arrangement so I won't be submitting it. Vurez_-_Lush_Forest_of_Quatera.mp3

Thanks. Believe it or not it's actually the lens that came with the camera. It's an EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 lens. Some of the pics are misleading though as they were cropped a bit (especially the fly pic). Here are two more macros. The flowers were only cropped a little bit on the top and bottom. The bumblebee shot was cropped a little bit more but not as much as the fly pic. I pretty much agree with po!. Unfortunately, I can't give much critique aside from what po! already mentioned. All I can say is they all seem to have good contrast and a nice use of lighting.

And here are some shots from the Digital Rebel XTi. These look a lot better in their full resolution versions - lots of detail. This one was edited quite a bit in photoshop - mainly the colors/lighting.

Here are a couple of shots I took a few years ago up in Maine. They were shot with my old Powershot S50 which is basically a point-and-shoot with limited manual options. This one turned out interesting as the crevice wasn't that big at all (the width was about 8 inches).
