  1. Have you tried looking at one of Hemo's paintings?
  2. typically "dark" means it sounds muffled and the highs are absent or mostly absent, so just run it through a simple filter.
  3. Larry as your oldest fan I feel it is my responsibility to call in for show #81 Plus I've been meaning to call in for like a month or two now.
  4. hahahahaha oops! I could have sworn it was a link to google. I MUST BE OFF MY ROCKER Anyway just google "ID3 mp3 tagger Mac" or something.
  5. omggggggggg first result Wait... Digital C? >_>
  6. You can load it with the sampler. Just make a new Sampler via "Channels>Add" and under the channel settings, find the folder icon and look for it through windows. The alternative is to put it in your FL\Data\Patches directory, so you can load it via the sample browser.
  7. Actually, QLSO silver has far less instruments than HQ Orchestral. The quality is higher, of course, but Silver doesn't even have a full string section sample . And it's not like one is bad and one isn't, they're both far above the quality of your average free soundfont. Anyway, I've gotten satisfactory results out of both HQ Orchestral and QLSO Silver, however the sample quality in QLSO is much higher. I have not used GPO, though. So Edirol gets points for having a boatload more instruments than QLSO Silver, but Silver beats that out with a very high quality. Keep that in mind when shopping around.
  8. WOW, FREEZING! Some people are that nuts, Zoola. I'm not one of them but I am just saying! Oh, but I have used more than 8 effects on one channel before.
  9. I disagree. I find this somewhat contradictory. On one hand, I tend to think better in a closed, messy space full of technology. On the other hand, I have different fingers. There is too much technology to choose from to accurately grasp your muse.
  10. I already have a surround sound system on my TV?!?!?!?!?! Edit: WITH DTS!??!?!?!?! Anyway you might be able to use a surround sound receiver, if your soundcard can output to 5.1 or more.
  11. All versions of FL have midi controller support!
  12. Just fyi The less restricted you are in the creative process [e.g writing songs], the harder it is to come up with any good ideas.
  13. The blurredness looks more like part of the JPG compression to me But that's an interesting style, barring the blur.
  14. Yeah, the problem is there is no such thing as a good internal soundcard on a laptop, so you'd have to get an external interface of some sort. OF WHICH I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH, SO I WILL LEAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE
  15. I disagree. Also, that's about as organized as 500 synths will ever get.
  16. HEY LOOK I'M ZIRCON I'M A WISEASS AND I LOVE IT Obviously HT applies to more than just rendering. but OH TWO HUNNED DALLAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
  17. Not really Rendering a .wav or an .mp3 DOES take half the time when Hyperthreading is turned on, whether the program is "optimized" or not. I tried this! I have a 3.2 GHz P4. I can say for certain that HT is pretty cool ;0
  18. I can make instrument samples! I can loop them too Like this! Bam! Instant seamless-looping vocal sample.
  19. Some say Hyperthreading messes with music software but I never had any problems. Well actually I do but they're not HT-related.
