  1. Thanks, Cree! I'll make another set once I finish more tracks. Glad to hear you liked it. The song you mention enjoying is called The Witching Hour and was done over halloween for a themed contest, just fyi. I've been thinking about making a Christmas themed song at some point, but I probably wouldn't include it in the album.
  2. Sweet deal, you guys. Great listen. Thanks for getting it together so promptly. Merry Christmas to all y'all!
  3. Well so long as I can use the WK-8000 to control FL Studio using the USB port on my comp, I'm happy.
  4. I missed the Wario update, but now that I've seen it I'll definitely say it's one of my favorite updates yet. I was really hoping I could switch to classic Wario, and I've always been one of the only advocates. Also, this Angel Island song is the first I've been totally satisfied with (aside from the DK one, I think). Awesome!
  5. Enjoy a good breakfast, a good family and a good Christmas tree. Cheers, OCR.
  6. A Casio WK-8000 keyboard with stand and sustain pedal, a new jacket, and a case of beer.
  7. I guess the first game to use a cutscene would be PacMan - every few levels beaten there's like a 10 sec cutscene. First 3d game - I'd have to guess the original Battlezone game for...Atari I think. First game with HDR - HL2 Lost Coast or, if that doesn't count, HL2 Ep. 1. Right?
  8. Oh, I meant to type 10 anyway. Good. I'm also looking at the Casio WK-8000 - do you happen to know if that also functions as a MIDI controller (in addition to using its own onboard sound)? All I've seen regarding this is that it has a USB port - but I think that may only be for transferring song/instrument data.
  9. Thanks - if I can expect 1 ms or less delay, that's not enough of a problem to force me to avoid a keyboard without onboard sound. I might look into that Studiologic one Silverwolf brought up elsewhere.
  10. I have 2 gigs of RAM, but I'm not sure if my soundcard has ASIO support. I'll look into it...
  11. I may at last have decided on a brand of keyboard but I have one big question remaining - how bad is latency usually with MIDI controllers (I'd be playing it through FLStudio 7)? I want the sound the MOMENT I press the key 99% of the time or I'll have to go with onboard sound instead. I have a Core 2 Duo and a capable soundcard (Conexant HD card in an HP Pavilion laptop) - how well do you think I'd fare? (I'm looking at a Studiologic 990XP 88 key keyboard.)
  12. Sweet, man! Just like I imagined the scenario would be when you linked us your song before. This would be a great feeling, to have your music played to a huge audience like that. Congrats!
  13. I'd love to find that SX used or something for 250 or under. Any suggestions? Ebay wasn't any help with this one.
  14. A synth keyboard (a MIDI controller would be fine) that's 88 keys, reasonably good quality, $250 or under (if it has to be used, that's fine - I'm looking at the Prokeys 88SX), and compatible with Windows Media Center edition (the big problem - this means anything M-Audio isn't a certainty)! Goddammit. Anyone have any non-M-Audio brand suggestions?
  15. Ah, my question of what happens at 1000 pages is answered. Carry on.
  16. Remember, disney didn't MAKE all the computer animated ones - that's Pixar. Otherwise I'd have said The Incredibles was the best one. However, I'll say I haven't seen Enchanted or Treasure Planet, so maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, now I want to see Emperor's New Groove again.
  17. I think I might give Warhead a shot, once I've got the time (I like Mindbender more, but I actually have an idea for Warhead I may be able to pull off). I'll email you if I get it done!
  18. Truthiness (the 2006 pick) is a lot more modern than woot. Also I thought the original usage of "woot" before it turned into a "yay" or "all right" substitute was an acronym for "we owned the other team"? But nothing seems to say anything about that. Also, I HATE "woot" with a passion. Just saying.
  19. Holy SHIT. The options are PURPLE?!
  20. This is sort of good though - I mean, think about it - whenever you switch in Melee it doesn't matter because it's always the same control mode. In this the name system matters, so it makes sense something like this would be included.
  21. Other than Fantasia 2000, that was the only good Disney-made movie in like the last 10 or 15 years.
  22. It's an optional update that allows mac users to listen to AACs/M4As instead of MP3s. Why they didn't just ADD the functionality instead of replacing it is baffling.
  23. This would be a great way to give updates on my original works to all y'all. However, I probably wouldn't do it if it was over 10 bucks... Also, there would have to be some kind of option to have a constant link to the blog from posts - (kind of like the "OverClocked ReMixer" thing that's under remixer's names, maybe just have a Blog link of some kind) because I'd want to be assured people would actually have the chance to read it without my advertising it everywhere. Still, this is a pretty cool idea. These kind of expanded functions might increase site visitors/interest too. EDIT: Oh, I see easy accessibility has already been talked about. Never mind.
