  1. You should look a bit harder. It's already out there at numerous sites.
  2. Only 75 more pages to go. CAN IT BE DONE?!
  3. Heartily agreed. In fact, come to think of it, the forest temple theme may have been one of the songs most responsible for getting me interested in video game music to begin with. In fact, it also helped make that temple my favorite of all from any zelda game (though it was already great to begin with). It's moments like that temple that really made OoT my favorite game. It had so much ambience, so much atmosphere EVERYWHERE saturating it that TP just feels "empty" by comparison, no matter how much larger the world is. Ocarina of Time felt positively massive compared to TP.
  4. Hahaha this actually works sort of. Gives tetris a whole new depth.
  5. Back to the front page with you! Also I dugg (digged?).
  6. Agreed. Still in the end I suppose it's better that he's "caught".
  7. This thread has five pages.
  8. This is a cool update - but of course, wouldn't it be possible to just make two level 9 comps fight each other...?
  9. He's still going to be the most-used character other than Snake, guaranteed...
  10. IGN just released 4 new vids. This game looks and sounds amazing (but I'm especially impressed by the graphics)! I think I might buy this.
  11. This probably has the worst instrument quality of the ones we've heard so far but I think it might be one of the better songs we've heard so far. Definitely fits Kirby, at least, and I think it would work well for Smash. This REALLY reminds me of the music from the N64 Smash, which is both a good and bad thing.
  12. I found the one I have! Just about 3/4 of the way up the pic, in the middle, there's two large ones with purple tanks and orange tips. Mine's the one on the right. Of course I haven't pulled it out of the garage in about 10 years....but yeah.
  13. Interesting how it looks like the album itself is called Chala, not the song. The song title has nothing to do with Schala. Nevertheless, decent song. EDIT: Look closely at the album art there - there are four tracks on this album all ending in "mix" or "remix". I wonder if all four are remixes of Schala? Would make sense, given the album title. EDIT 2: Indeed - I just listened to the CHALA disjointed mix on there. It's also a Schala remix, though the original material is only there very briefly. So yeah, all four tracks on this album use the Schala theme, I'd imagine.
  14. I second all of this, since I just relistened to the whole thing and found it just as enjoyable as I did yesterday. I love just sitting there listening to this and picturing scenes from the book playing out in my mind. So many small details not only sound great but match up brilliantly to elements of the book. Also, just as an aside, I was getting somewhat of a Tron vibe from the electronic parts in movements II and III, which is definitely a good thing.
  15. I think I will do both of these things right now. Also cool update, but I still wish we could use these text taunts online with random people. Guess that's probably not going to happen.
  16. Whoa! That looks hot! It’s dangerous to touch it. "Let me in!" "I’m not letting YOU in!" Oh! Is he grabbing the edge with his rope snake?! PA-SHEEN! That feels gooood... It’s exciting and exhilarating!
  17. I listened to the whole thing. This is fantastic! I've said I liked stuff before, but this seriously goes beyond words. Not only is it an excellent homage to Ender's Game, but it's a brilliant fusion of orchestral and electronic music. Thanks so much for releasing this to us. I'll be listening to this one for a long time to come.
  18. I love picturing Sakurai throwing his hands up in the air and screaming "EEEEEEEEEEK! It’s a lava wave!"
  19. I think every so often the phrasing is slightly different.
  20. I never used Ness to begin with, so it's not like I was still "holding out hope". I was just sayin' beacuse lots of other people here seem to like him and if there ARE 50 characters, it would certainly not make sense not to replace an old favorite character. Also, never ever say "deal with it", because it's quite possibly one of the most infuriating phrases ever uttered by man.
  21. If there ARE 50 characters, which I somewhat doubt there are, then there's absolutely no excuse for excluding ness and captain falcon. I guess we'll just have to wait.
  22. No way! Tim Follin did Altered Space?! I used to have that game as a little kid, and no one ever had heard of it - but I was always really attracted to the music from it, even back then. No wonder. Unfortunately it was horribly programmed ingame. There was really only one song in this game long enough to be considered as one (track six in this archive you list), but it was a couple minutes long, and would start entirely over again every time you entered a new room. What's more, each room was very small and there was a couple of seconds of silence at the beginning of the song. This meant that unless you stood still for awhile, you could very well never hear the game music at all (I would sometimes start the game up and just wait out my air supply to a game over so I'd be able to listen to it way back then) and it would certainly never be likely that you'd hear the whole thing. Anyway, you're in dire need of some tracks and I've already been considering this for some time. However, I think it'd be a very tough track to remix. If I come up with anything, I'll let you know, but it's probably unlikely. Man, I'm still surprised.
  23. I disagree, personally - why not? The more the better! It would only mean lots more variety and fanservice and plus it would be much more likely that a character suits you really well.
  24. Like I thought, Coop put it much better than I could have. Haha
  25. I think The Coop could probably offer a much better response to this question than I could. Let's see if he shows up.
