  1. My thoughts are that TP and OoT are completely unrelated, which are also my thoughts on the original, LttP, Link's Awakening, etc.
  2. As far as albums go: Dream Theater - Scenes from a Memory Ayreon - The Human Equation (my favorite album ever) Ayreon - Into the Electric Castle Ayreon - Universal Migrator Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime (only part 1, part 2 is worthless) Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle Earth Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Eve and Other Stories Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Beethoven's Last Night Not yet mentioned: Shadow Gallery - Tyranny/Room V...put together, it's a fantastic 2.5 hour prog metal story. Aina - Metal Opera (it's, like, a metal opera) Emperor - Prometheus: The Discipline of Fire and Demise (if you like black metal) Lots of good songs mentioned already, but also: Iced Earth - Gettysburg: The Devil to Pay, Hold at All Costs, & High Water Mark (classic/power metal, 3 parts, 30 minutes total, you will probably learn more about Gettysburg in this song than you did in history class) Nile - In Their Darkened Shrines (death metal, 4 parts) It's funny how about 7 of my favorite 10 albums are concept albums.
  3. I usually don't remember that she plays the guitar unless I see her occasionally use one in concert footage. I just love her voice.
  4. I like Scabbia but I prefer Anneke van Giersbergen from The Gathering. Actually, she's my favorite singer, man or woman.
  5. I listened to them for awhile but eventually I found her voice to be too whiny so I stopped. Pretty good band.
  6. I think everyone who posted on this thread (including me now) could benefit from the LURK MOAR FGT advice.
  7. I think I've seen his name a few times. Not sure exactly who he is.
  8. He's killing me. I still have like 10 books by him to read.
  9. I had a pretty bad flu over the weekend. I don't think it was bird-related.
  10. I thought Midna was pretty useful. She didn't tell you anything about a boss right away but if you didn't hit him after a couple minutes she would tell you what to do.
  11. Actually as a little fun side gift, a got Sneak King and Bumper w/e and they're actually really addictive I played the bumper game for like 2 hours yesterday with a friend, even though it was the second game he'd played on his xbox360 that he got for christmas Sneak King was a funny game. Some of his delivery techniques are hilarious. The bumper game sucks single player but is really fun if you play against a friend. Also, if you people like GTA clones I recommend Saints Row for 360. It is better than GTA:SA in some respects.
  12. Water Temple was easily the most difficult dungeon for me. It took me the longest by far and I felt stupid when I figured it all out.
  13. Gears of War is very fun...especially when you play it co-op with a friend and spend the entire time cussing at each other and complaining about who needs the ammo case more. Seriously though, Gears of War was very fun and the bitching made it more so. Also, Wii Tennis...and SSBM...I'm still playing that...and Guitar Hero... Perhaps OP is playing the wrong games.
  14. Cue the classic Dana Carvey SNL skit Bad quality, sorry.
  15. In many gamers' eyes, Zelda OoT is still the standard.
  16. When I was in like 3rd grade the boiler room or whatever wasn't working so we didn't have school for a week and didn't have to make it up. Maybe your school being destroyed will fall into the don't-have-to-make-it-up category.
  17. I graced my parents with my presence, which was their Christmas gift. So, I guess that's my gift to all of you too. Man I'm generous.
  18. This one Christmas, like 10 years ago, I received some presents. It was awesome.
  19. One of my favorite SNES games was True Lies. Unfortunately I am in the minority with this underrated game.
  20. The only PC game I play is Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead. I have played it for maybe 4 years now.
  21. Agreed. That episode totally threw me for a loop the first time I watched it. I laughed all the way through the commercial break after the blood orgy the first time I saw that episode. It's one of my favorites.
