  1. Me either. We should make a club or something. Or just a club sandwich...those are delicious. Anyways, I only check out the major full soundtrack releases on here. I never bother with the individual ones anymore. The only individual ones that I listen to on any sort of regular basis are the old Protricity things.
  2. oh my god i cant believe they would do something like this so soon after 9/11 omg
  3. Mario Kart is fun and fairly simple. Lego Star Wars 2 has a great coop mode and is also fun and incredibly easy since you can't lose.
  4. I saw this on Newgrounds front page today and gave it a shot. I played on Medium difficulty and got the Grammar Ninja rank with no errors in 2 minutes. W00t. It was an interesting and enjoyable educational game. I haven't had to deal with differentiating between parts of speech in about 10 years but some of the answers didn't seem correct. I only clicked on some things because the game said I had some left. The strangest one to me was pecan pie, which I'm pretty sure is all noun instead of an adjective or whatever you had it labeled as but it looks like the Newgrounds reviewers have corrected all your mistakes. You should make another one of these and get these bastards here at OCR to help fix your mistakes before it's released. I know most of them are math or band nerds but I'm sure some people here know their English. They could even be immortalized with a "Thank You" in the credits. Or you could just ask that Berder guy whose review you posted earlier since it seems he is extremely knowledgeable and enjoys breaking down sentences. Bottom line is: This game actually made learning somewhat enjoyable and you should be proud of yourself for that.
  5. I thought the first 3 FFs were pretty bad. They didn't get decent until SNES imo.
  6. Great. Now maybe they can spread around a patch that makes it possible to download stuff on the PS3 and actually play games or watch DVDs at the same time. Retarded design.
  7. That was an interesting article. My thoughts: I have no problem with companies outsourcing their work to companies like Tose. The publishers take risks dealing with outside companies like this. If the games end up being bad it doesn't hurt the Tose name; it hurts the publisher's name. If the games end up being good Tose gets no credit and the publisher's name becomes more respected. Tose's mission is basically to get rich working for all companies and not take credit for any game, good or bad. This makes me wonder though...does EA really suck as bad as it seems or is Tose making all those poorly designed and even more poorly tested games?
  8. The only way I'll get Vista is if I get an entirely new computer from Dell or something. There just doesn't seem to be any incentive for me to switch.
  9. I disagree with your assessment of Rampage, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Mickey Mousecapades, and Golden Axe as crap.
  10. Almost everyone has. There haven't been more than 5 games listed that are actually crap.
  11. The original Metroid is one of my least favorite games ever. Overrated POS. I'm glad you realize it's crap though. However, even though I disliked Wind Waker I wouldn't say it was crap.
  12. Pit Fighter is one of the few games mentioned in this topic that I actually think is bad. Sadly, I too enjoyed it. I played it both in the arcade and Genesis.
  13. I certainly wouldn't call that game crap. I wouldn't even call it bad. It's just a very simplified RPG and I remember enjoying it.
  14. I was really enjoying that game for 2 whole minutes until my game crashed. I've never played a buggier game than that. I hope whoever made the decision to release that game at that time has been fired and will never again hold a job in the video game industry.
  15. I would post my 5 favorite types of pies, but only one really matters to me: 1. pecan
  16. FoF Medium is the equivalent of GH Hard and FoF Easy is the equivalent of GH Medium. If you haven't played much GH it's best to stay with Easy I guess. I beat all of GH on Hard and all but the last 2 normal songs and 3 bonus songs on Expert so playing FoF on Easy is fairly boring to me. Plus, you can't fail songs in FoF so even if I'm playing badly on Medium it's still fun unless the songs are poorly designed and/or impossible.
  17. Yeah, many of the song creators don't realize you can't hit 10 notes a second in this game cuz of lack of HO/POs. Several songs I've tried are downright impossible, even on Medium.
  18. Ideally I would like to see a normal Diablo 3 but if Universe of Starcraft or whatever was more than just WoW in space I would be very interested in giving it a try. I think if they could find a nice mix between space and land battles it could be great. I like the idea in the article of it being a new innovative MMO idea and I am interested in what they have in mind.
  19. I found a Frets on Fire song by Ailsean. He has done several remixes for this site but this song wasn't released on ocremix. The actual song can be found on his personal website. The Frets on Fire version is found here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5ZK2Y4F3 The song is called Surfing on the Blocks. It is a Tetris remix on medium difficulty and is pretty fun and mostly accurate. Sorry if you don't like megaupload. I don't listen to many remixes on this site other than the major full game releases but if I find another one I'll post a link.
  20. Indeed. I can't afford to keep my computer up to date with the newest games. I had to turn down Oblivion to all the lowest graphical settings and had view distance at zero and it still ran fairly choppy. The only types of game I prefer playing on consoles are fighting games (Smash, MK). I'd rather play every other genre on PC. Unfortunately, in addition to keeping your PC up-to-date, you can't rent games for PC which means you have to buy every single one. It's just too expensive. Now I'm somewhat jealous of people who are addicted to MMORPGs. It might be somewhat pathetic to just play one game forever but it's a lot cheaper overall.
  21. Go watch some horror movies. Actually, I've seen hundreds of horror movies (my favorite genre) and well-done scary moments in video games are much scarier than anything you will ever see in a movie. I'm sure some good horror movies could toughen you up a bit though. Getting scared in Zelda is at least mildly ridiculous.
  22. Deja Vu? You mean like if I woke up in a bathroom stall suffering from amnesia and had to find out who framed me for murder?
