So, the game itself is a movie licensed title that is a lot like Contra, at least the SNES version is. Anyway, I always kind of liked the music in the game for some reason and I could never really come up with a way to re-interpret it that I liked. Then in a serious flash of inspiration I came up with the terribly named, Cyber Mower (linky). The track is based on the first few level's music, . Anyway, I personally feel that it might be too interpretive and liberal with the source so to speak. Would love to hear some thoughts on it though.

It turns out that I really, really *like* FL Studio, and its workflow is fantastic. I cranked this track out in ~3 hours of actual work, and it's still of higher quality than pretty much anything else I've produced to date. Honest criticism is always welcome and encouraged - That's how I know what to improve on. Thanks for listening!

Finished this a couple of weeks ago. It's called City of Ruin. I was going for a dark sound and I achieved what I wanted - one of the few times something has turned out almost exactly the way I planned. I'm back with another attempt. This is a tribute to Elizabeth (Persona 3) and a trance remix. I mixed "Aria of The Soul" (Persona 3) and "Ice Cap Zone" (Sonic 3) with some of my own music (mostly for atmosphere though). I think it sounds nice. In one of the longest development times for a track I've worked on yet, this remix was conceptualised just over two years ago, and it hasn't been until recently that I picked up the perfect software to finish the arrangement.
