  1. http://tindeck.com/listen/fbik I did this as a bit of a joke, but I'm actually legitimately interested in what else I could do to make this pass worthy. I think it's an interesting prospect considering you're given such a lack of source material. Any critiques? Haha
  2. Been trying to work on chiptune and I'm digging this idea so far. Does it sound like something that would be in an NES game, or am I nowhere near? What could I do to improve on it? Any and all feedback is appreciated! Oh, and yes, I like Mega Man. http://soundcloud.com/pixelwave/bth
  3. 5/5/2012 --- updated a new mix. BTW at about 2:50 it goes back into the old mix. I haven't updated the 2nd repeat section yet. cynicmusic.com/temp/47_realtime+L2at-6dB.mp3 One of two sonic remixes I'm working on. This is probably my 5th green hill remix but certainly not my last! I'm The intro isn't finished yet so it's faded in. All feedback welcome or make the intro for me this is the old mix for comparison http://cynicmusic.com/temp/2012_March_aSonicRemix28aa.mp3
  4. This is an arrangement I'm currently working on for Pokemon Snap's opening theme (A Mysterious Sighting). You can find the original song here: I am working on a sort of story based thing where some voices of the main character will be added on as he tries to take a picture of Mew (those who've played this game, kudos if you know what I'm talking about ). Anyhow, looking for any tips/criticism/praises, just tell me what you think so far about this draft. Here's the link: http://soundcloud.com/imazi643/whoa-did-you-see-that-1st
  5. Tried to think of something completely original, and came up with this. Ideas for how to elaborate and/or improve on it would be deeply appreciated. http://soundcloud.com/sgtyayap404/symphony-of-the-waves-work-in
  6. So I'm working on my second remix. I wanted to take the idea of Kekfa's theme and work it out as a bluesy bassline, and then found out that there were other boss themes that fit really nicely into the groove. So it's a bit of an amalgamation. I'm not sure if I like the ending, and I know there are ways I can improve this, but I've been staring at it for the last couple of days without really making any changes. I feel a bit stuck. http://soundcloud.com/xprtnovice/six-boss-seven
  7. http://www.box.com/s/cf63fe6aa024459eeba3 Well, this is a first... I'm trying my hand at dubstep. So far, I like it, but I definitely need some help. Anyone?

  9. Hi, Here the short version of an original track I've been working on lately: http://soundcloud.com/pablocoma/the-fearless-gamer-and-the I prefix it as a work in progress, but I guess I wouldn't change a lot to this short version. I will just make it longer ! It is dedicated to the gaming community. You guys can fight a monster as big as a building without crying for your mama, and it deserves at least a music piece ! You surely guessed this is a sort of boss theme.
  10. It's been a long time since I last time tried to remix something. I chose this song from NDS's latest Castlevania game Order of Ecclesia. I took inspiration from finnish humppa-band called Eläkeläiset. It's still on very early stages production wise, but you get the idea what I'm doing. http://tindeck.com/listen/nhxe EDIT: Tweaked it a little bit http://tindeck.com/listen/prqk
  11. http://soundcloud.com/2point0sounds/ff8-force-your-way-rock The drum track was collecting dust on my old laptop. I figured I had finally gotten enough skill in playing to taking this one on. I will probably redo the mix when I listen to it tomorrow with fresh ears. ..this was done in 10 hours roughly. Check it out guys.
  12. Been wanting to do this remix for a while, and since I finally got the (closet) studio together, I can finally record. No EQ work or mastering yet. Verse comes in around 2:00, my goal was to throw in a reference to every (major) Zelda game that's come out so far. SFX at the end planned to be scratched up eventually, but you'll get the idea. I'm thinking it's a bit minimal in the interpretation department, so thoughts there are appreciated. --> Temple of Rhyme <-- --> Temple of Rhyme v2 <--
  13. Hi Everyone, It's been a long time since I've visited this forum. That's too bad. Anyway's I'm producing music again, this track is by no means finish. Feedback will be appreciated. http://soundcloud.com/user750358/the-negotiation
  14. So, here'a little preview of a tune which will be on my Instrumental rock/metal EP. It was formerly called "pick your poison." However, I wanted a more original title for it and I had been watching the Evangelion series. The character Asuka is my favorite as she is always pissed and speaks in German. I couldn't remember the character's name so I just referred to her as the "Angry German girl". Also, since I come from a German family, it seemed like a fitting, original title. Here is the sample of the main riff/chorus section. http://soundcloud.com/angelcityoutlaw/angry-german-girls-preview The final version will have real drums, bass and I will be recording guitars at a studio in Calgary. I'm still trying to see if there is ANY possible way I can get an Engl amp to use for the EP, but it looks like I will be stuck with the Mesa Triple rectifier. Any feedback much appreciated.
  15. Hi! Here is one more WIP of mine. This is a scratch of my intent to this music. Sorry for some mistakes. Soon I'll do the due adjustments. http://soundcloud.com/klausterfullbya/wip-v1-metal-core
  16. So, this is my short little beginning of a remix of Zelda 2's Temple Theme. I was listening to my iPod while walking to class, and LaRux's Temple Trippin' remix came on. I started hearing wubs behind it for whatever reason so I decided to throw my ideas at my computer to see what stuck. This is the result thus far. Any feedback? What can I improve? I do realize there's a really obnoxious click right at the beginning, and I'm sorry. That will be smoothed out in future renderings. 17. Hi everyone, after 9 years of composing mostly acoustic music I decided to get into remixing. As one would expect I found myself rather ignorant about writing in this medium, I would appreciate help with my sound/sample quality. I use Sibelius to create the MIDI basis for my tracks, Absynth 3 as my synth program, and Synthfont to render it to an MP3. Though I'm open to many solutions, using Sibelius (or really, any easy-to-use sheet music interface) is something I'm pretty adamant about. Free MP3 download: Septic Shuffle.mp3 I appreciate the judge's panel taking their time to listen to the piece and directing me here. Thanks for taking the time to listen.
  18. http://soundcloud.com/sgtyayap404/demolition-work-in-progress Some more intense music, for a change. Loosely inspired by the early Wipeout games. Comments, even constructive criticism, would be deeply appreciated.
  19. A piano medley focused on Tetris Theme A which I'm working on in hopes of getting it onto the GameBoy 25th Anniversary album. http://soundcloud.com/nintendude794/tetris-fur-elise
  20. Me and a couple friends jammin' on Cloaked In Blackness from Halo: Anniversary and Halo 1. http://soundcloud.com/nintendude794/under-covers-of-nights Feedback please!
  21. Hey, This is my first attempt at a song, I'm interested in hearing my weaknesses/strengths (mostly weaknesses I'm sure) so I know what to work on, things to change, etc. This version of the song was actually made with the wimpy midi-sequencer on LittleBigPlanet 2 for the PS3 and converted into mp3 format so the quality may not be the best. I've been trying to redo the song in REAPER but I can't really replicate the sound I got on this version so I'd love to hear any criticisms! Thanks! http://db.tt/4aXuDDHK
  22. Sup y'all This is not my first remix, but i think this one got the most potential for a great dubstep track. For the original track i really like the "refrain" so i choose to build the track on that part. I appreciate all constructive critisism and specific on the downmix part. I remixed this in Reason 4 and im still learning how to use this DAW. If you think it's too messy plz tell me Tripping in the marble zone take one: http://soundcloud.com/skizor/tripping-in-the-marble-zone Thanks y'all -Skizor
  23. Needed to distance myself from the Shinra remix, so I made this for the time being.. 24. Source:The Brink of Time Time's Brink (Youtube) Time's Brink (SoundCloud) A quick mix from the oh-so-over-remixed ost (that I love to death). Either way, here's my take on one of the tracks; I hope you enjoy. Qmix = QuickMix.
