Pyrion Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 One thing to note for Mozilla/FireFox users is that if you change network.http.sendRefererHeader to 0, you trade some functionality elsewhere (like on download sites that check to make sure there's no external linkage) for .jpg/.gif sigs hosted on Geoshitties & AngelFire to work properly. I've had that set to 0 since... Well, sometime. But I still can't see images on my own site. It works in IE, though I can't get it to work in Firefox. Quote
Pyrion Posted May 30, 2004 Posted May 30, 2004 It only helps if the server normally checks the http referer header before serving external linkage. Quote
SL83 Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 You can host your images for your signatures or anything else here for FREE: http://www.imageshack.us/ http://upload.serverseed.com/ Enjoy Quote
Pyrion Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Doesn't work because the board thinks the file extension is .dir, obviously not an image format. Quote
Lacour Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 i had a .gif file extension before and it worked...how come not this time? the .txt one doesn't work. which one is it Quote
leokef Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Hmm, and ImageShack has... ...served its purpose. Quote
Mahaboo Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Take out the space between the "/" and "images" [img=http://www.silverteacup.com/images/shadowofaman.jpg] Quote
