cobaltstarfire Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Wow, he's REALLY tall, atleast a head taller than the other runners. Quote
SynthesizedStampede Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Ha, and he still keeps going after that. What an athlete. Quote
Liontamer Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Dayum, son. That dude can JET. Hopefully he's not on something. Quote
MajLink Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Wow, that was amazing, but I will be very suprised if he is able to run that well this summer in China. There are far too many factors that have to take place for him to have another perfect race and beat all the well known 100 meters runners that are out there. Quote
Xelebes Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 37.04 km/h average. he was probably peaking around 46-7. Quote
Jam Stunna Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 I used to run track in high school, and at an indoor meet in NY some kid broke the national record for the high jump. Just being there was the most exciting thing ever. The whole place erupted. Quote
Global-Trance Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I just heard on the news that he was actually there to try out for the 400m dash. He decided to try the 100m dash on a whim just to practice tapping into his max speed. The guy had no intention of doing the 100m in the first place! Quote
HalcyonSpirit Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Dayum, son. That dude can JET. Hopefully he's not on something. Of course he's on something, it's called Powerthirst. Frickin' energy legs... But seriously, 9.72 seconds? I used to run the 100m in high school, and let me tell you, most of my team just wanted to get good enough to break 11 or 12 seconds. 9.72 is crazy. CRAZY! Quote
Chiwalker Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Can't remember exactly, but Maurice Green ran a 9.6(something) but there was a tailwind... Quote
