anosou
My most used console, still boot it up from time to time for a game of Gradius V or to start another playthrough on one of the many, MANY Japanese RPGs. I own a total of 160 PS2 games and I love pretty much every single one. Fuck, I have wet dreams about developers picking up PS2 developing again. I love you PS2! Ray Falling
I used to be anti-Sony back in the days, but later on I picked up a relatively cheap PS2 and some great RPG's. I sure had been missing out on a ton of stuff, but I'm glad to have been able to catch up a little. Of course, nowadays I don't play games anymore, but I did enjoy the ride when I did. I would have enjoyed my games more if I wern't such a freak to want to stay up and keep playing non-stop I probably missed half the endings of my sweet RPG's because I was too tired to watch. The endings are the whole reason I play in the first place ;_; ehehehe. Good times!
ProjectSpam
10 years old? Makes me feel old! But the PS2 has provided me with plenty of awesome memories, and still continues to.

The Damned
One of the best game console of all time. Let's share our love stories! Fixed. While a matter of personal opinion, if you wanted to go be statistics (units sold, game library with high selling titles, specs, etc...), it's up there, but hardly "the best". /why, yes, I do like to rain on people's parades
ella guro
Been playing Silent Hill 2 lately, and I still have a billion other PS2 games to finish/catch up on. It's the only thing close to a next gen console I have, and I don't plan on getting one of those for at least a couple more years. You rule, PS2! Arcana
I occasionally use mine, but rarely. I have a ton of games I've bought but never played on it (Shadow Hearts, Shadow Hearts II, Xenosaga II, Suikoden Tactics). My PS2 is from launch day (October 26th in North America), It still works, but I've had to take it apart numerous times to fix the laser alignment that causes "Disc Read Errors". The Coop
It's the best selling game console of all time with over 140 million units. And how many of those went to replace the many, many units that broke due to the PS2's faulty hardware for the first half of its life? Anyway, fun system. I have a decent library for it, with the likes of Okami, Samurai Shodown Anthology, Altered Beast (PAL), Gradius V, R-Type Final, Dragon Quest VIII, Final Fantasy XII, Metal Slug Anthology, Sega Ages Vol. 30 Galaxy Force II Special Extended Edition, and more. The Coop
...eighteen? Eighteen million? Perhaps. Wouldn't be surprised if the number was higher. The local EBs and Gamestops had shelves filled in the back with broken PS2s. Sure, some werelikely simply because of bad care being taken, but a lot were the infamous disc read errors, overheating, skipping and so forth. The PS2 was the 360 of its day in this regard. relyanCe
library is sitting at 18 games, most of them jerpguhs (jrpgs) with the exception of Disgaea 2, sotc, DMC1-3, Chaos Legion, GrimGrimmoir, and ZOE 2 at one point I owned all the Armored Core games for the system, but one day my brain ceased functioning and I sold them all (anso will hate me for that) Best game for the console? From my experience, it's either Kingdom Hearts II or Shadow of the the Colossus, for the same reasons (visual masterpieces, amazing scores, amazing gameplay, and compelling story). SotC is superior in aesthetic/music, while KH2 is superior in gameplay/writing. Just my opinion though holy hell anso where do you KEEP all those games
The Coop
Ah, Shadow of Colossus. Boss fight central, and a cinematic sight to behold. A part of me wishes a sequel had come about, but another part of me is glad one didn't, since the first one would be hard to top. And what, no Ace Combats Anso?
